Friday had incepted the weekend and it brought with it a aura of tranquility Amongst the vast Labourers in Salda Kalif. Many it gave them an avenue to rest their tired muscles from against the strenuous work of the weekdays. As times were financially difficult, a lot of people were faced with budget constraints and not all could afford to take themselves to Bars or party clubs which were synanomous with the rich and middle class. For the rest , they found their own ways to make themselves Happy and basked in the euphoria of being alive. Some got tires and lit them in flames before singing merily as they danced around it in an orbital manner. Others simply got cheap ale and drank to stupour as the silver rays of the moon bore them witness. Others simply headed to the suburb square where Saygaku was at hand to dish out his very strange stories that blew their minds in acres.
" Saygaku . Why are you so silent. It's Friday night for crying out loud. Tell us a story." Said one of the young peasant farmers who was fat and had a belly the size of big barrel. His black hair were unkept and as they had began to turn red in rust. The inability of his floppy lips to close for a second made his very spacious dentition viewable to all that cared to see. When others held unto a bottle of cola to excite their taste buds. The young man was simply pleased to hold on to a giant potato which he had severely lacerated with his alligator like teeth.
" Tell us already Obadiah. You may be in luck to have a shilling or two." Said another man who was so slim that he held onto his fat friends hands for rigidity.
" A shilling eh.?" Muttered Saygaku who had sat down quietly under the Boabab tree like a little child in grief.
" Did you lost someone. You look sad and unsually quite today. " Said another man who was eager to hear a story.
" Saygaku grief. ? Is it possible for someone who has fed from death all his life to grief about it. I doubt is Saygaku can ever bit the delicious fingers that feed him. Hahaha. He is too loyal to death to grief." Said the young fat man and bit the Raw pototoe as would a starving python on a giant Rabbit.
" Shillings eh ? " Said Saygaku in a more audible manner as he rose up slowly to face the Gathering crowd.
" Yes . If the story is as amazing as usual. Then you can have a shilling from me." Said the Slim man with a wide grin and a wider expectation from Saygaku.
" Good . A promise made . Is a promise to be kept, less we death strikes a balance and feed me on thous chest." Said Saygaku and smiled wildly as he his view hawked across the faces of the raging gathering.
" You peasant you can have a shilling. Start the story already. " Said a woman in among the crowd gazed at Saygaku in anxiety.
" Patience , my people patience. Listen carefully to what am about to say. Not all tales are stories. Some are narratives from unseen days that only the good spirit have seen. I had a dream this afternoon. " Said Saygaku and paused to observe the reactions of the crowd.
" A dream in the afternoon? . Isn't that what dogs do.hahaha." said the Fat youngman as he was joined by many members of the crowd to laugh.
" The winds of Vengeance blows towards Salda Kalif and on it rides a luminous angel of grief. Oh the pain in her eyes. They make my spine go cold. It's unlike anything I ever Saw. In her arms was torched sword that oozed of blue flamed. She held no shield. A shield huh? Well of what effect are the stingers of a bee to the shell of the tortoise." Said Saygaku and nodded his head slowly as if in grief.
" The story old man. Enough of your fake prophesy. I heard you were at a funeral last night. You probably had too much ale to drink." Said the Slim man as he frowned at Saygaku.
" Patience young lad, patience. " Said Siin as he turned his scary face suddenly towards the gaze of the Slim man who was quick to turn mute upon sighting the beastly scowl of Saygaku.
" Nourish yourselves with knowledge from the future. It's a profitable guide that berates the benefits of any merriment you could derive from a fine story. This is is reality. Choose me oh fair one , choose me." Said Saygaku as looked to the sky and threw his hands wide upon as saying a prayer to the God's above.
" Amen. Just know we have no penny for you said, the fat man and turned to take his leave in disappointment while ushering his friends and other Onlookers to do the same."
"A penny eh? Wait . Here is the story. Don't go without listening to it." Said Saygaku upom realising that the crowd were all bent on leaving . It was not the fact that they were leaving that bothered him, rather it was their unwillingness to depart with their pennies that threatened to see him go hungry for the night.
" Start already .this is what we came for . You Know we don't have all day. " Said the fat young fellow who had pulled out a giant carrot from his pocket. He had done justice to the potatoe and all that was left of the poor legume was memories. Even the sandy back of the potato had been devoured by the fat young man.
" This happened many years ago . Once there was a beautiful land with beautiful people that were were beautiful followers to ugly leaders. In no time . Soon the ugly leaders realised how weak their people had become in a quest to maintain their beauty. No one was willing to break a nail or scratch a spleen in uproar against the unfair rule of their ugly leaders. They all felt they would be beautiful forever. Soon the beauty that they held so dear which had made them weak , started to evade them. The absence of good water gave their skins blemishes. The presence of their laziness made their farms scanty. The absence of food supply made their stomach sunken. The presence of scarcity made their minds dirty. The absence of sympathy made their lives worthless. The presence of scavenging made their legs croocked. The absence of beauty made their body ugly. Soon majority of the beautiful people had turned ugly, poor and Ill. They were in a state of neither living nor dead and it wasn't for long before some had began to feed on the corpses of dead animals without sparing humans when they found one.
