“Breaking news, this is Mike Slayden, WBS News. Reports are pouring in now from the greater Arlington, Virginia area. It appears that a nuclear bomb has detonated just north of the city. We’re seeing helicopter footage from the devastated area now. An hour ago, the landscape before you was a thriving metropolis. Fears are mounting that few within the blast zone, which appears to measure about one mile in width, are left alive. Several hundred thousand people are feared dead. The blast zone appears to be centered on what was the headquarters of America’s premier spy agency, the Central Intelligence Agency.
