LYNA :Regaining sanity

Chapter 10

Standing before me was Charles Almanzar the CEO of Oaktown's Bar where I work I mean fight. Well I've never met him officially but I've seen him multiple times at the bar with his fellow colleagues drinking and betting on fighters and trust me when I say this man was pure bad news yes I don't know him officially but I mean he owns an underground fighting club and they kill men so imagine the other things this guy has done and I know my mum has no clue I can't tell my mum because questions I don't want to ever answer will be asked and I'll be doomed for sure. The guy walked towards me and smiled brightly obviously unaware of who I was and sat opposite me with that smile still on his face.

"Hi Lyna I'm Charles Almanzar" yeah I know who you are I smiled brightly at him and nodded my head not giving him an answer I knew that was rude for sure but I openly and obviously wanted him to know I didn't like him for my mum and my mum sensed the tensed air and broke the silence by ordering food. I decided to eat a little bit healthy so I ordered farro and grilled chicken salad but trust me I don't usually eat healthy but I just felt like eating something healthy and since there was farro why not. Almanzar ordered steak and baked potato while my mum ordered Smoked turkey and farro salad yeah we love farro.

"So Lyna your mum told me that you're a senior now?" He said obviously trying to start a conversation and I internally rolled my eyes at his attempt.

"Yeah I am" I mean what did he want me to say but my mum gave my leg a little push underneath the table and I sighed knowing what that meant.

"So urmm Charles..what do you do" I asked trying my best not to sound disrespectful.

"I own a bar and a mall so I'm a business man" he smiled and I returned the gesture by smiling too talking to me like I was twelve obviously he didn't have kids so no kids I'm not too worried now.

"Okkayyy like what kind of bar" I asked looking at him straight in the eye with the don't f*****g lie to me look.

". Honey weren't you supposed to tell Lyna something?" My mum tried to change the topic. And Charles nodded and shifted uncomfortably on his chair as he dropped his cutlery and sipped water and looked at me somewhat scared I think I can't really pinpoint it.

"So ..I guess your mum already told you we are engaged" he smiled nervously to which I nodded to as my mouth was full.

"So we are thinking of getting married in November and we wanted to ask if you're OK with it" he didn't smile this time. But November? That was early I mean this is September and they want to get married November? But I didn't say that out loud obviously.

" yeah that's fine if you guys are OK with it" I smiled and continued eating.

" And armmmmm... .....we were thinking of adopting you legally" this statement made me freeze like a f*****g statue like my whole body froze completely I couldn't even respond I was f*****g speechless I mean what the f**k adoption?! what am I twelve? You've got to be kidding me and my mum didn't even ask me she has no right to make decisions on her own like that.

" If I say no will you change your mind? " I asked slowly my voice filled with obvious anger not looking up from my plate and I didn't want to shout and create a scene now I see why they chose this restaurant. My mum shifted nervously on her seat.

"I'm sorry Lyna I wanted to tell you but we've already submitted the paper work" my mum said as she put her hands on mine and wiggled it off and pushed my plate and got up.

"excuse me" I wiped my mouth and walked out of the café not looking back I just kept walking I wanted to break something I wanted to scream I wanted to do many things I just kept walking and the adrenaline kept making me walk faster and i didn't know where to pour my f*****g anger cause normally I'll go to the club and fight but my so called dad owns it now and I canceled today's match by does that mean I can't fight there anymore?.

"Hello.. Hi Mark is there an extra slot ?" I called Mark up because I really needed to let out some steam.

"Sorry Kana dear they've all been booked" he said to which I sighed and thanked him and kept walking and I decided to go to the bar and have a couple of drinks and maybe hook up with some random dude I really really needed it.

When I got to the bar I was very tired because I walked all the way so I just made my way to the bar and ordered a drink and called Elly.

"Hey.... You home?" I asked immediately she answered.

"Yeah are you OK tho you sound solemn" she asked sounding worried and I know she was wondering why I was calling her this time I never call.

" I'm going through a lot Elly I'll call you when I get home OK.. Or I'll just come over yeah?"

"Sure I'll be waiting " with this I hung up and downed my drink at once like I was taking a shot and I put my head in between my hands massaging my temples thinking of how my mum always manages to ruin my life. I know if they officially adopt me my whole life will change completely my head ached badly and felt very heavy as I took four more shots and I felt like i really needed to let out some steam so I went to the dance floor and the song playing was money by Cardi B and I loved that song so much so swayed my hips to the beat and danced my stress away as I felt a hand grab my waist and the person pressed his body against mine and whispered slowly.

"you with someone?" I giggled slowly and shook my head as he leaned closer and I felt his member harden against my butt drawing me closer to him as I teased him by rubbing my butt against it and I heard him groan and I smiled in achievement and I continued to dance against his member.

"Wanna go upstairs" he asked slowly with his breathe brushing against my skin which reeked of alcohol and I spun facing him and I forced a smiled and I used my pinky to caress his cheeks slowly and he licked my tip which I rubbed on his nose.

"Naaah I just want to dance" I giggled as I kept swaying my hips to the beat but he held my hands trying to drag me off the dance floor I immediately dragged my hands from his hold and pushed him away from me as he tried to get closer to me and he landed on the floor if the place wasn't busy, I know his fall would've dragged attention he got up angrily grabbed my hands forcefully before a voice stopped him.

"Dude let her go" and I recognized the voice instantly and hoped for the floor to just swallow me whole I nearly died of embarrassment. And the guy let me go immediately without saying a word and went in search of another girl to get it on as I turned around to face Jake and considering the fact that I was drunk I nearly tipped over but he held me upright but I could only smile.

"I think we should take her home" I could hear Jake tell someone but I was busy trying to stay awake.

" don't worry I'll take her I know where she leaves" the someone replied and last thing I remember was being lifted off the ground.

The place was dark so dark and I kept moving using the wall or whatever I was touching as support I didn't know why I was moving but I couldn't stop it was like my legs had the mind of its own I kept moving but I didn't know where I was going but I couldn't stop. Suddenly I saw a bright red light and I went to it but it turned out to be a red door as i opened the door i realized it was a room flooded with blood so I tried to retreated but I couldn't keep my balance as I fell into the pool of blood and the blood began to get thicker and darker as I felt my self drowning and choking on blood the more I tried to scream but the more I tried,the more blood I swallowed I immediately heard a sound above me when I looked up, I saw a man standing above me laughing at my misery the man was faceless and I screamed for him to help me but he laughed evilly I kept screaming and begging him to help me but he kept laughing he then brought out something that looked like a spear from his pocket I don't know how that fut into his pocket tho and he threw it at me as the thing pierced me as I let out a loud scream ...... I opened my eyes screaming hard and what ever I was in stopped moving immediately.

"Oh my God are you OK?" The person beside me asked and I replied not caring who it was because my heart felt like it was about to fall out.

"I'm fine just take me home please" the person started the car, that's when I turned around and cleaned my eyes with the back of my hand and looked at the person driving and noticed it was Ham I sunk into the seat burying my head in my hands groaning omg he just witness me wake up from a nightmare but he didn't say anything through out the ride and I was grateful because I don't think I can have a normal conversation right now.

"we're at your house you can go in now or do you need my help"he offered as he got off to which I strongly declined and walked to my front door with him behind me.

"Thanks for the ride" I said as I unlocked the door but before I locked it..

"Wait I remember where we met" he said and I stopped yes I was drunk but I could understand this clearly.

"Where"

"The bar"without waiting for him to continue, I slammed the door at his face I didn't mean to be rude but I just was not in the mood right now. And I walked to my room not bothering to shower and got in bed with nothing on my mind, I slept off.
