LYNA :Regaining sanity

Chapter 9

I woke up sweating real hard and I couldn't even breathe well I had a nightmare again? I thought those where over a long time ago I sighed as I got out of bed. I felt like I was run over by a busI hate this so much. I went downstairs to get my self some water and freshen and I glanced at the clock and the time was just 2:03am and I sighed in agony considering the fact that I didn't want to sleep again I drank the water and I washed my face wondering if it was gonna help me relax a little but my heart was still beating fast as if it was about to fall off so,I just laid my head on the counter trying to get my self together.

"Why are you still awake?" I didn't hear her come in so I was so confused and her voice was sleepy but she didn't look it.

"I couldn't sleep that's all" I answered dimly as I made my way to my room.

"I'd love for you to meet him tomorrow" she said which halted my steps.

"What, you want me to meet the guy you want to marry" I tried my best to filter my words

"Yes you said you were remember" she smiled brightly.

"Ok then what time" I just wanted to go and rest I didn't want to elongate the conversation

" 12 noon" but before she could say more I walked out and got into bed I didn't feel sleepy before but now trust me the sleep came faster this time.

I was running and it kept running after me I was begging it to stop but my lips weren't moving i wanted to scream but nothing came out I could hear him but i couldn't see him he kept laughing I kept running and he kept following me I saw a bright light at the end of what ever I was inside and as I tried to reach it it began to fade begging me to save it but I couldn't I kept crying both of us begging and reaching and it kept fading and I kept trying to reach it but it grew smaller the closer I got to it. I began to run to a different direction and I saw it was a forest and I could hear the echo of the man's voice calling out my name and it was soft and sounded so peaceful but the chills I felt up my spine told me this wasn't good the voice changed from an echo to a whisper and it got closer and that's when I noticed I was in a cage and the cage began to shrink and I screamed for help but nothing came out and then the voice became very loud and the he began to laugh as i struggled to break the cage just as I was about to be compressed, I woke up breathing heavily and I saw my mum by my door looking at me wearily.

"So why didn't you tell me huh? why I could've called the doctor to prescribe more drugs for you. Answer me Lyna why?!" My mum's scream is really getting annoying

"Because we can't afford a doctor mum have you ever cared to ask, you never even asked if they stopped so why will I care to tell you " I said my voice getting higher

" oh my God Lyna I'm trying my best to be a better person can't you see huh? I'm hurt that my own daughter can't believe I'm trying I don't even drink anymore isn't that enough ? I don't do drugs isn't that enough ? I'm trying to be the mum I never was to you these past years so please can you at least treat me like mum just this once please" she said with tears streaming down her face and something in me broke. I've never seen her like this since the day everything broke off in Lakeview and now I feel bad

"The nightmares started yesterday and I've not had them in a very long time I actually think it's stress I don't think I need drugs"

"Are you sure you want to visit the doctor even tho it's stress? And I think you should quit your job because.."

" no I'm not quitting and that's final mum" I snapped and I was just as shocked as she was and as she was about to reply, the front door flew open and a very hungover Elsa walked in looking like a f*****g mess

"Good morning miss Marie I'm so sorry for barging in like that"Elsa tried her best to look responsible even tho she knew she looked like a girl who just got dumped and that thought made me laugh with got me a glare from her and i stood up and made her coffee

"No problem are you okay tho" my mum asked obviously trying to hide her smile and Elsa began to blush hard and I couldn't help but burst out laughing

"Oh thank you so much" Elsa said as she collected the coffee more like snatched it from me. With this my mum left us and went upstairs saying something like she wants to shower. Elsa then finished up and I sent her upstairs to take a bath because she really needed it. I laid in bed thinking of how I'll meet my maybe new dad and wondered if he had any children will they be my age, and the fact she said she met him in a club means he's rich and is he a mafia, I wonder if he's going to turn out like my dad but i tried as much as i could to push those thoughts out of my head and the thought of last night came rushing through my mind as I closed my eyes and pictured his lips on my cheeks but I imagine it on my lips and I smiled brightly at the thought and squeezed my legs together and pictured him on my body caressing... as the heard the sound of the bathroom door opening and I opened my eyes as saw a dresses Elsa as she fell on the bed.

"So how did you get home?" Was the first thing she asked and i couldn't stop the blush creeping up my cheeks.

"Ham why"

"Hmm hmm.... So nothing happened yeah"she grinned

"Nope he just dropped me off and left" i said trying to hide my smile

"You're lying lee your smile says it all"she pinched my cheeks

"Fine he pecked me that was nothing"I shrugged as I got up to take a shower and get ready to meet that man.

"Nothing? Omg gurllll it's something Abraham doesn't go around kissing girls on their cheeks he doesn't even associate with girls" she said as she sat up straight on the bed.

"Hmm....OK tell me about him then looks like you know him" I said as i got into the bathroom but left the door opened so i could hear her.

" Abraham and Jake are cousins and Ham grew up here because he used to stay with Jakes family he's very quiet but loves to party and hook up but he has never had a girlfriend and he moved to stay with his parents I don't really know the reason but I heard it had to do with their business And he doesn't just pecks a girl he f***s so maybe he has a weird attraction to you" she said all at once as i processed every single information that she gave me

"How do you know so much huh?"

"Well I used to have a huge crush on him so I stalked him" she smiled and blushed a little

"So you have a crush.."

"Had bitch.. And I don't think he can give me the f**k Jake gives me" and I shook my head at how she was really into him I hope he doesn't mess up if not ill kill him

"And besides you have a crush on him so he's all yours" she winked at me as she said this and her phone beeped as she received a text message.

"Looks like I'm needed at home see ya" she hugged me briefly and left.

I quickly got ready and went downstairs to wait for my mum and she came down some minutes later

"Are you ready?He's waiting" she smiled at the fact I was already dressed I honestly thought she would tell me to change but she said nothing I was wearing a black hoodie and red cargo pants and my hair was straightened.

She asked me to drive because she lost her license because of drunk driving. The café was big and fancy and it was so pretty I looked in awe as we got in everything looked expensive this man must be really rich then.

"I thought you said he was waiting?" I asked as we sat on our table which was empty.

"Yes he went to talk to the manager ohhh that's him coming "she said and smiled I've never seen her smile like this in a very long time and as I turned to see the mam that brought my mum such happiness, i was met with a face that made every thing in my body stop and sent chills down my spine. Well f**k me.
