Liandra and the Average Joe: Average Joe Universe

Prologue Paradise.  Peace.  A gathering of those who ruled the world and he who didn't.  The fools were filled with life, engorged on it.  He didn't think they deserved to drink from the well, lowly beings that they were and so he plotted with dark machinations.  Thus, they were slain at the height of their hubris. All he could do then, was sleep. As was his nature. Average Joe Universe Part 1 Main Characters: Liandra Keyrouz - Troubled girl who currently lives in London.  Age 15.  Has nightmares that are downright debilitating and does everything in her power to avoid sleep. Mister and Misses Keyrouz - Liandra's loving parents.  They are both professionals in their perspective fields who have moved from Lebanon to London to further their careers.  They have tried every method under the sun to cure Liandra of her nightly terrors. Now they'll even resort to methods outside of conventional means. Richard Roocean - A quirky dream reader from an unknown country.  He currently resides in Sweden where he performs his strange and esoteric services.  Of course, many consider him a fraud and a kook due to the outlandish clothes and jewelry he wears. Robert Grabas - A reserved American who appears to be in his mid to late twenties.  His attitude and mannerisms give him the appearance of someone of means, while his effortless good looks, broad chiseled body, piercing blue eyes, and perfectly coifed blond hair marks him as a playboy.  His serious demeanor intrigues Liandra, as well as the tragedy she feels stirring within him.  A feeling that seems to connect them somehow. Part 2 Main Characters: Joe Black - A young teenager from Orangetown Florida.  He lives a quiet life with his parents and closest friends.  He loves his girlfriend Kate more than anything and likes to goof off with her younger brother, Mod.  His average life is interrupted when he saves a strange woman during a terrorist attack on his favorite football stadium. Liandra (Beauty) - A mysterious woman with an even more mysterious objective.  Joe first meets her as she's being shot at and even as she recruits him to save the life of another woman trapped in the bowels of the stadium, something about her actions don't seem all that altruistic.  Regardless, Joe considers her the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and for some odd reason can't stop himself from wanting to help her. William Patrias - The principal of Orangetown High who is known to dress in awfully colored formal wear.  Patrias does his best for his students and puts up a stern front, but he hides a deep sadness that forever changed him since his teenage years. Grabas - A mysterious businessman who appears to have some influence over the events that transpired beneath Pickers' stadium.  If so, why has this man captured Joe's two new friends, Melissa and Dahlila beneath the stadium?  And what does he want with Joe? Hank Borland - A retired detective who is now a private investigator in Orange City.  These days he takes on new jobs with his young ward, a talented ruffian named Dahlila.  After losing her amidst his latest investigation, he stalks the streets of Orange Town for clues leading to her whereabouts.  Dahlila Hill - A young woman who was adopted by Borland when she was a little girl.  Borland knew her mother.  While she's always been a little rough around the edges, now that she's helping with Borland's P.I. business Dahlila has been doing her best to control her impulsiveness.  However, once she discovers what's going on below Picker's Stadium, she can't help but want to hurt those responsible. Melissa Grant - A young girl with a very unique aura about her.  Despite being a child in a dangerous situation, Melissa manages a gentle poise and calm that most masters of meditation could not manage.  Her gentle ways puts her friends and allies at ease.  The creeps running the stadium operation seem to want her captured and it's up to Joe and the others to keep her safe.
