**ADDISON’S POV**
There is no light at first.
No sound. No breath. Nothing but weightless dark wrapped around me like an ocean too deep for sunlight to reach. The world is distant, muffled, fading. I am not in my body. I am not in the wolf. I am nowhere.
But then a ripple pierces the dark.
A voice.
Not loud. Not clear. But familiar in a way that shakes through the nothing pressing around me.
“Addison.”
Adam’s voice.
It echoes strangely, like he is yelling through water. I try to move toward it, but I have no limbs. No shape. My thoughts drift like dust. I cannot feel my heartbeat. I cannot feel breath. Even my memories feel dim, slipping through my grasp every time I reach for them.
