I slam the door closed , Jasper's eyes tracking me as I pace the expanse of the room , my fingers diving into my hair and I tug at the roots . Kai is an impossible person , he's too cocky for his own good and he seems to think the world revolves around him — in hindsight , it probably does . But to me ? He means nothing to me now . He didn't even care when I asked him to unlock my bedroom door . He blinked , twice , took a large step back , gazed down at me with no emotion lingering in his eyes and threw the bedroom key at me . He then sauntered over to the pile of papers on his desk and silently dismissed me . He hates me . But why did he touch me like he has been craving me for years ?
