“Son, you’re actually here… I wasn’t expecting to get a call from your boss and all.” Ashley spoke in a low voice, probably self conscious due to the fact there were other nurses and staff around the hospital. She walked towards her son slowly.
“You called her?” George turned to his employer and asked him with a clearly surprised look but he didn’t seem completely disappointed either.
“I didn’t have much of a choice, you wouldn’t call her.” Pesco explained as they walked together and sat down in the waiting area.
“It’s very nice to meet you ma’am… as well as you sir.” Pesco finally introduced himself in person. Although he already had a talk on the phone with both of them, the tension in the air was still high but he didn’t seem to mind any of it.
