“My son, how on earth did he get himself injured like this?” Christian asked while looking at Thomas’s body laying there so motionless, although he was still breathing it felt so cold in the hospital room. The atmosphere seemed tense as he questioned the man.
“I’m very sorry, forgive me, sir… it was one of my own guards that did that to him…” Lucas apologized by lowering his head.
“Who was the guard?” Christian asked with a fury in his gaze.
“Andrea, but she was imprisoned, she won’t cause anymore harm.” Lucas said as he finally looked up to meet the other’s eyes.
