Although Lucas was left alone by everyone else, the two men that had been standing guard outside the door finally entered the private room as things calmed down…
“You took it?” Mickey was the one to ask as he approached the man sitting at the sofa still smoking.
Lucas nodded his head as he extended his hand holding the green stone that everyone seemed to want so much. “Here’s your payment, pendant you two wanted so badly, that you decided to strike a deal both with Thomas and me. It’s finally yours.” He said in a sort of mocking manner as he too could clearly tell there was nothing special about it whatsoever.
