The news played on the tv screen which was mounted on the safe house wall, the volume low but clear enough for me to hear every word that they were saying.
"—Elias, Beta of the Black Moon tribe, was taken into custody by council authorities early this morning. Elias is facing multiple charges including conspiracy to commit war crimes, unauthorized attacks on several territories, and coordination of s****l abuse—"
I leaned back in my chair, grabbing the remote and increasing the volume of the television as I watched as Elias was being dragged away in strong restraints. His face wasn't very composed, his hands trembled as cameras flashed and reporters shouted several questions he didn't answer. He probably didn't have the answer to them.
