Blade's POV
I stood outside Cara's door, adjusting my tie for the umpteenth time. The party was supposed to start in one hour, and after not so much persuasion, I finally got Cara to agree to be my plus one.
I lifted my hand to knock on the door, but for some reason I hesitated and adjusted my tie again.
I checked my watch, seeing as the time was far spent, I finally knocked.
"Coming!" Her voice came from inside, slightly muffled.
