Cara's POV
The door to my room flew open before I could even respond to the knock.
Belle rushed in like she owned the place, her eyes immediately scanning the room, her grin as wide as always.
"Well, well, well." She jumped on top of my bed, bouncing repeatedly on the mattress. "Look at you, living like royalty.” Her eyes were still observing the space as she kept jumping. “This bed is softer than a cloud, I'm never leaving." Her gaze shifted back to me.
The sarcasm in her voice was infuriatingly evident. Her room back at her house was just as exquisite as this one, so there was no way she was actually surprised. She probably came here for something else and was trying to lead me on before asking.
