“Lords,” a voice said, which startled Laud and Loric. They turned around to see Sot. He was in an all-white gown holding a lit lantern.
“What are you doing up so early,” Sot asked, and Laud mumbled and pointed in the direction of the children.
“A group of kids stole some bags from the storehouse,” Loric explained. Sot walked into the storehouse and looked around.
“It's fine. Come let’s get you back into bed,” Sot said, he turned and walked in toward the main house. Laud and Loric followed him.
When they got to the house Laud asked,
“What are you going to do about the thieves?”
“Nothing”
“I think you should tell Uncle Icarus.” Laud said as he walked up the stairs.
