Chapter 63: The New Patch.

It was a sudden announcement when the patch came around. I was definitely not expecting the patch to came out early in the morning. Like 4 AM early...
I was shook, but excited nonetheless... After all, it is the most exciting patch that came out of the game. From the way the patch notes looked like... The team is different. Because now, it is more clean and effective at delivering information.
Information that was delivered through the patch is a lot more than usual. Both in explanation and the overall amount of content. Making it easier for all of us to understand such amount of information in less times...
The patch notes is written like this.
Added the fifth floor to the game. Players can expect to find a hidden passage in the trench that leads to the fifth floor called 'The Mines'.
The Mines is an underground, ancient, and old civilization that excels at creating. To the players that have good creativity inside them and wants to become a better craftsman. The Mines can help you bring your ideas to life with the amount of lost technology that it offers.
Player can start finding the way into The Mines when the server has finished it's maintenance...
Balancing the reward given to the player that first found the fifth floor. Previously, the system gave the best reward to the first party that enters the floor. But now, the rewards are based on rank system. The first party that finds it get the best possible rewards. But there will be rewards given to the second to the tenth party that enter the newest floors of that update.
The addition of Labyrinth that players can find in all floors that will give them good experience and resources that will help them go further in the game. All labyrinth is not interconnected with each other. They are an independent content of each floors.
Improvement of the World Arena. Players will get a weekly reward based on the rank they are in. Further details will be announced at Sunday after the Rank Count.
Lastly, next week, an event will be held across all server. The event is a monster hunting event. The more point you get from killing monsters, the more rewards you can exchange.
That's all for the patch notes. It was a long and hefty patch to read through but definitely the best patch the game has currently.
So many content and information that I deemed... Interesting. It makes my heart very happy and wildly dancing. I can definitely say that I'mma be doing everything that I can to get all of those reward. After all, free rewards are the best kind of rewards...
After reading all of the patch notes... The first thing I do is to immediately take a shower and prepared to go to campus. I would like to finish the campus matter as soon as possible. But, Michi might feel empty if I just show my ability and graduate like that. I'm holding the urge to show my talents and bloom in an instant just so that I have things to do.
Anyway, after finishing every preparation... I wake Michi up and then she started to get ready. I went downstairs to the kitchen.
"Huh... That's a bit strange."
It seems like everyone is too tired from their who knows where trip yesterday and I'm the only one truly awake and ready for today... So, for the sake of their health, I make quite a healthy breakfast.
"Michi! Come down and eat with me!"

After calling Michi down, the two of us started eating. Judging from Michi's clean and proper attire... She's ready to go to the campus... So, I bring some topics to make the meal a bit more tolerable rather than a complete silence.

"I don't know where specifically, because I'm not on the best focus at that time. But if I have to take a guess... I should be at the top right of the Trench. I remember seeing a carcass of dead whale there. So, if you find a group of deep sea monster, you are close. Just remember that the place that leads to the fifth floor is in the sand. Search for a quick sand looking thing that leads to the middle..."
"... Okay... I'll try to find it with Dion and Sakura later."
"Good then. I'll delay my login by fifteen minutes than usual. If you can't find it until that time... Then I have to enter the fifth floor by myself and get the best reward for myself."
"Well, that's fine too. At least for me."
Michi smiled after she said that last piece of sentence. Of course, I understand what she meant with that smile. I finished eating and hugged her tight.

I give Michi more time to finish her food because of my good mood. While I went to the garage and prepare to leave the house...
As I'm turning the car on... My phone rang. A message has been sent from someone... I went to take a look at my phone and the sender is not someone I expected...
"... Dion..."
It's weird for him to message me first thing in the morning. So I take it very seriously and immediately asked.
"What's wrong?"
'Yo, sorry to bother you this early ass morning. But I'm not planning on going to the campus today. I'm quite ill from the trip with Sakura. So, can you pick her up and brought her to the campus?'
"... Sure thing. Will you be playing Eclipse on the mean time?"
'I might. But who knows. I think it'll be better for me to wait for you guys since I'm sick as well. So, do me a favor yeah?'
"Alright. I'll be there in a few minutes."
Alright then... That put quite an ease on my mind... Because with Dion sick, the chance of him playing Eclipse online is very limited. Sakura will probably be too focused on Dion to play alone. So, that means it's just Michi and I for today...
"I'll gate keep the reward if I have to gate keep it..."
I grinned alone in the car and finalized the plan that I have. It's not a nice plan in a sense, but it's still a nice plan in another sense...
