Chapter 68: I'm not an i***t after all.

1034 Words
Repairing the smithy takes a s**t ton of time. I have a lot of it, but it still is a pain in the ass to do. I get the job done anyway. So that's something that I'm proud of. Although the reparation takes tons of time, which also resulted in a lot of failures... I managed to recover this smithy to its fullest potential. Polished floors, equipment, walls, lit up furnace that's burning brightly and seemingly eternally, and many more things that you can find at a fancy room. I'm thankful that the Furnace is not heating the room up, so I don't have to feel the heat coming out from it. It is hot though, like, scorching heat. I decided to rest for a bit, waiting for some prompt to pop up as well as generally resting. That's when Mercy calls me. "OneSec!!! I've reached the fifth floor entrance!!!" "Oh! Good job! Do you need me to pick you up on the entrance to the city?" "Ah! No need. I'm still in the crossroad. It takes a couple of tries to get through the Mechanical Stag. But I made it through!" Ah, so the mini boss is mechanical stag. Understandable. "Okay. Just know if you need help, I can always get to you. It's not a hard task for me to help you." "It's fine~ Thank you for the offer though. I'm going to go the easiest route. It might take a while, but just wait for me." "Alright. I'll wait for you." As the call ended, a prompt finally appeared right in front of me. 'Congratulation, you have finished the first part to unlock the 'Main Scenario' in order to get the main scenario unlocked, please unlocked two more parts in Coggensville to start the main scenario.' Interesting. Main scenario is not something that I thought exist in the entirety of Eclipse Online. Knowing that Eclipse Online is a very free and open world game. So I never really thought that this game would have something like that. "Well, since I discover this matter. I should focus on this first and then make my way towards the other stuff I had planned." After stretching for a bit... I decided to grab the smithy hammer and open up the chest on the side of the furnace... A list of raw ores appears in front of me. Every ores has different effect that it offers... From increased attack, defense, speed and many more. The set that takes my eyes is definitely something that is stronger than my current set that I got from Nightmare Poseidon. "Bloodstone Ore huh." The effect of Bloodstone ore is penetration. It ignores defense by 30%. In order to get that effect, I just need to equip two equipment. I'm thinking of making it both of my daggers. I'm also thinking of changing the way that I've been fighting. During my off times, I've been learning about something about martial arts seriously... "After Bloodstone set with its penetration, I need a four sets for my Mask, Chestplate, Leggings and my Boots. Ideally, I would like it to increase my speed." I'm not a power fighter. I rely more on my speed when it comes to hand to hand fighting. I can dish out large amount of damage solely from my skills percentage damage... I also need Critical Damage and Rate. Raw damage is also important for my skills. "There's not enough gear slots for this though...." That's the unfortunate thing for me. My weapon needs to be made out of Bloodstone ore so that I can have a constant Defense Penetration. My main armor needs to be Agility increasing set. Then that means... I need my Accessories to dish out that raw damage... Earrings, Rings, Gloves... I can spread out the main stats of Crit Rate, Crit Damage and Attack. I will also be min maxing my sub-stats to the best of its ability. "It's going to take a long time and a lot of resources to find the perfect sets for me, however, I'm willing to take that time to become the best player that I can be." Previously, all of the sets that we have is already pre-determined. We can't really play around with the sub-stats because we only have one chance of getting that gear. Now that we have a constant way to smith gears, it's going to be a lot easier... I look at the furnace menu and immediately learn about how the smithy works. "In order to make the weapon properly, I need to learn the skill Blacksmith so that the ore take the shape properly. The higher my blacksmith skills are, the better the weapon shape and balance will be. Leading to a better stats distribution. I can choose what sub-stats to be in the weapon by using Stats Stone that range from low to perfect graded. Perfect graded Stats Stone will give me the best possible sub-stats percentage both initially and when enhancing." I understand how smithing works. In order to get the best possible gear, I need the perfect smithing ability, to get perfect graded gears, and uses perfect graded stats stones to get the best possible status. "This is not going to be cheap investment.." So be it! I will do anything in my power to get everything perfectly graded. So that when this game stays on the top of the world, I am also staying on the top of the world. "In order to effectively learn the smithing skill, I shouldn't be wasting top graded material like Bloodstone Ore that is in the Unique Category of resources... I need to use something more common like Iron." Because Coggensville is an area that is filled with ores wherever you go, it's easy to get iron. But other ores that I needed to make the perfect set, like Bloodstone ore, I need to get it somewhere deeper in the wild. With that in my mind, I started taking a bunch of iron chunks and started to amateurly smiths my way toward what I hope a smithing skill. "Phew... It's going to be intense, but hopefully, I can get something easily soon.
