Chapter Eighty – Disappointed
Red’s POV
The young man walked to us with Beta Jack. Klaus immediately mind linked that we could act like we didn’t know him and wait for him to react to us.
The Alpha’s son smiled on seeing us and stretched his hand. “Thank you for coming. I’m Xander.”
I hesitated, before stretching my hand. “Redden.”
We shook and he extended his hand to Klaus.
“They are twins but the other doesn’t even want to be an official.” Beta Jack laughed. “I still plead with him to, at least, be a Beta and support his brother. I’m tired already.”
I nodded at his words but my mood was dampened by this young man’s identity.
He didn’t seem to react as if he knew us. I’d have known even if he hid it. He left shortly when he was called upon. Beta Jack took us to our rooms.
