Thane could die?
Then he shot his head up, shaking his head, “Not literally, not literally. Just die out of how suffocating it is. I mean, I’m just Xander’s cousin there, no real identity.”
It then clicked, if he was from that pack, then Xander and Xenos were, as well. They didn’t even brag about it and it’s worth bragging about.
“That’s nice. This is the Delta of my pack, Esme.”
He froze, looking at her with fascination. Indeed, it was admiring to see a girl so young as the Delta of a pack. He smiled and stretched his hand towards her.
But Esme placed a balled fist on his palm, like a fist bump. Always so unserious. I wanted to ask Thane more questions about the pack.
