A lot was happening this week. The Legendary Gifted Brothers. Stan’s death. And now, Red’s favor.
Even if it was the council that asked, I still saw it as Red asking me for a favor few days after I sent a letter saying we wouldn’t chase after Aida and we wanted to settle.
That was professional gibberish, after all.
I will still want to challenge him when I get stronger. But for now, I’d happily do anything that’d get us a step closer to the King of Rogues.
For Stan’s sake.
This favor had to do with saving an Alpha’s kidnapped son or getting useful information on the case. I didn’t know how he expected me to do so.
All the important rogues killed themselves before I could get to talk them, even the last ones I brought in.
