What the hell was wrong with this week? I’ve missed the bus taking me home three times already.
It all started when I waited back after classes to speak to the League’s Boss. What was he babbling about knowing his sister and stealing her gift?
He might have done intense research on me while trying to bring me to the league to have guessed I was adopted.
That was a part of me I tried to forget, because it didn’t matter. The Lead Warrior, my father, had saved me from the Great War.
He might have died then, or I couldn’t remember the memories we shared, but he was still every inch my father.
I stood in front of the buns store to catch it hot this morning. I’ve heard from Thane that hot buns in the morning worked as well as coffee.
