Former Archeologist

Arthur arrived at principal's office where he was greeted with the principal having his ears covered in blood. He could even see the blood pumping out of him. He squinch his eyes on disbelief as realized that the floor is all covered in blood.

He couldn't believe just what made the principal bleed this much.

"Did you do this?!" Arthur said with a trembling voice as he then points out the man beside the principal.

"No I didn't." The man Arthur's pointed at said

"Mister King, I'm so sorry if the whole office is a mess but this is something beyond my control." The principal coughed "Well anyway, this two person here were confirmed to be sent by WIC and CDC and they claim that they would need you to find a cure for this happening." The principal said

"How am I gonna get a cure with this I'm pretty sure you sir know that I am just a former archeologist, and isn't this only happening on our school so why is the WIC involved?" Arthur asked

The suited man took off his sunglasses and walked towards Arthur, He folded his sunglasses and hook it to the first button of his suit.

"Listen Mister King, there is more to this event to what you might think." The man said

"This school isn't the first one to experience this, it's just that WIC made an AI to detect the virus's pattern. It isn't perfect so the only one that seems to be correct is this school and a couple of hospitals in Middle East. Now that it has gone on a huge scale then it means that CDC hasn't gotten a solution to our problems so the only thing we could do is to rely on WIC's theory and in order to execute that theory we will need you." The man continued

The man snapped his fingers and soon another man whose said to be working with the CDC stepped up holding a tablet that contains information about the new island that had arose from the water called "New Africa".

The man gave the tablet to Arthur.

Arthur scrolled through the pages and was in awe and eventually forgot what's happening at school due to the confusion he's having.

"How is a relic going to help cure the infected ones?" Arthur asked

"C'mon, you took an archeologist degree and for once you didn't thought of stuff like ancient virus's or variants." The other man said

"That's not a how archeology schools work." Arthur said

"Hey CDC guy, Can you go back in the car I just have to talk privately with this guy." The man said and so the other suited guy complied

"Even better, My true name is Jenson Mackelson. I don't officially work for WIC but they've paid me to get you help them find the cure." The man said

"Wait, can you explain things like from the start." Arthur said which the principal nodded cause he's also curious as to why this event is happening.

"That'd be a tough one to explain but I'll tell you what I know."

"A couple weeks ago a lady in Korea suddenly froze in the middle of the road causing a huge traffic accident, many thought that it was just a freak accident that maybe the lady was crazy but that wasn't really the case. People who had reviewed the CCTV footage from all different angle and noticed that the blood already splattered out of the lady's body before she even got hit by a car. This news was posted out on the internet and eventually captured the great minds that build WIC and eventually a lot of doctors got interested as well. A couple hours after the news became popular many just left it as a rumor but the CDC who had discovered this knew that wasn't the case. They sent doctors to Korea and invited WIC executives as well to study this phenomenon further. Upon inspecting the body the two parties came up with the conclusion that this isn't just a random accident or any minor sickness it is a virus. It spreads through the air, unlike any other virus, this one sleeps and once it activates the person would rather be paralyzed and bleed for days till he or she die or get blinded and bleed till he or she die." Jenson said

"Does that mean I'll die!?!?" The principal shouted

"Not now at least." Jenson said clicking his tongue

The principal went silent as he heard this, he just sat back on his chair to reminisce some good memories to calm himself down.

"So how is a relic gonna cure all this?" Arthur asked

"If you've red the article enough to understand its content, you'll notice that there is a tiny label written as patient zero. This patient zero is said to be the one who brought the virus to our world by going inside the old temple on that island." Jenson said

'Old temple? How is a temple built on an island that just resurfaced three years ago?' A question that Arthur had kept to himself.

"Well anyway, you have no choice but to agree anyway. I'll pick you up tomorrow so make sure to pack up and sleep well, the archeologist having cramps would be bad luck." Jenson said

"What?!? Forcing someone to somewhere is illegal you know that?!" Arthur shouted

"Well information breaking is also illegal and yet multiple government agencies hired me." Jenson said with a winked

"God this place is a mess." Jenson said as he saw blood dripped over his suit "Now I have to do laundry." He continued

"Arthur, I would really advise you to go." The principal said right before Arthur left the room

"Who are they to decide for me anyway." Arthur mumbled

As he walks back to the classroom to pack up his things, he heard a siren go on and see the students starting scratching their faces. He could even see the spoiled student he have scream in pain.
