Warren gasps at the news. It was unexpected, that’s for sure but the determination etched in Rain’s face told him her decision was final. She was leaving and evidently nothing would stop her.
“Are you sure?” he asks softly watching her. Three weeks was long time away and Warren couldn’t help but feel saddened by it. Rain’s company was something he looked forward to everyday. Their friendship had grown in leaps and bounds and Rain certainly felt comfortable and happier around him. A feeling that was mutual.
“Yes,” Rain breathes out setting down the bottle of water. “I can’t not go Warren. It’s too important for me.”
