She instead stands allowing the moment to fully settle, her eyes adapting to the newness of her surroundings. The other passengers walked past Rain, their hurried stride an indication of their haste to avoid the blistering humidity and the sun’s glaring rays. But no, she wouldn’t be like them. Rain wanted to savor the moment, live in it whilst hoping and praying that the coming days would feel as exhilarating as the moment she was in.
