“Rain.”
She turns at the call of her name. Rain faces Killan who was looking up at her so adorably that she literally felt her heart expand with love. Killan’s ocean eyes flickers towards Rain’s plate taking in the piece of meat coated in sauces, “Can I have a taste, please.”
“Sure,” Rain answers offering Killan a smile. She cuts the tender steak into small chewable pieces for Killan and jabs a piece. Rain directs the fork towards Killan’s mouth. “Ah, open up…wider.”
Karey watches the two, she chuckles at Rain’s goofiness as she teased Killan by drawing the forked meat back. The bond between the two was irrefutably strong and unbreakable. Whereas Killan was hard and difficult in some moments, his demeanor completely changed
