"You sure you don't want to come with us?" I asked Rosie for the umpteenth time as I was getting ready to leave the room. It's not that I didn't want some time alone with Aaron for hours, I really did. However, it just felt weird without Rosie around whining and babbling.
"I'll kick you in the shin." She threatened, pushing me out the door and following suit. "At least I'm the volunteer in our little group. Imagine the time of your life then when it's over, leave the work all to the host."
