“Hello, Stella.” Nate greeted a pretty blonde nurse as we passed her where we were she was disinfencting something on the medical trolley.
“Nathaniel.” She gave him attention, throwing him a smile then looked at me. “Girlfriend?”
I blinked, sputtering my denials as Nate laughed.
“She wishes.” He laughed while I elbowed him.
Sarah shook her head in amusement and went back to her duty post. I gave Nate a blunt pinch on his side and he wiggled out with laughter.
“You’re crazy.” I said, shaking my head as we stopped in front of an elevator. He pressed the last floor’s button and I looked at him again. “We’re going to the rooftop, aren’t we?”
