Chapter Four teen
My phone continued to ring...and ring… and ring. I couldn’t find it. I had no idea where it could be. I had managed to have a power nap, that was much needed I must add, but then when I went for my shower and got myself dressed and sorted for my date, I must have put my phone down some where.
Following the ringing, I dived on my bed and pulled my pillows away, eventually finding it, tucked down the side of my bed. Of course.
Rolling my eyes and sighing, I answered it with out looking at the caller ID.
‘Hello?’
‘Hey babe, I’m out side, you ready?’ I ran over to my window and looked down. There he was. Kip. Looking... Insanely hot. My nerves suddenly started to go crazy and I felt almost sick with excitement.
‘Yeah, I’ll be down now’. He smiled.
‘Ok, See you in a second’. He hung up and I took a few deep breaths before leaving the bed room, grabbing my jacket, purse and giving myself a vain once over in the mirror on my way out the door.
I hadn’t even made it to the stairs before Kip was ringing me back. I answered it quickily.
‘Hello?’
‘I forgot to say, Pack an over night bag’. That peeked my curiosity even more. Why would I need an over night bag? What exactly did he have planned?!
‘An over night bag would king of ruin your first impression of my dress’. He laughed loudly.
‘Throw it out the window then before you make your grand arrival’. I told him I would and hung up the phone. Heading back in to my room, I grabbed my back pack and stuffed a pair of jeans and a top inside, along with a few other over night essentials before tossing it out my window as he suggested.
He caught it and I hurried back out of the bed room and down the stairs before I caught the unwanted attention of my parents, unfortunately.. I caught the attention of my older brother instead.
‘Well, well, well, and just where are you going dressed like that?’ I turned around and crossed my arms. ‘You look like a hooker’. I refused to let his comments get to me. ‘Which one of those creeps are you wearing that for?’
‘None of your business’. With out saying any more and before he could draw any more attention to me, I opened the front door and slammed it loudly behind me. I would NOT let any of them ruin my happiness or excitement. Not tonight.
I ran down the garden path and instantly in to the waiting arms of Kipper. I hugged him tight before he pulled away and kept me at arm's length to look me over, Grinning like a Cheshire cat.
‘Wow, you look completely breathtaking tonight’. His comment made me blush redder than the dress I was wearing. Leaning forward, he gave me a quick peck on the lips before opening the car door and helping me inside. While he was getting in himself, I took a minute to check out what he was wearing;
Some nice smart black trousers and shoes, a hot black button up shirt, with the first couple of buttons undone, revealing the slightest bit of his chest tattoo, and a blazer. I bit my lip and looked away. He looked so attractive.
‘So, Where are we going?’ I asked as soon as we were both bucked in and the engine was on. He grinned.
‘Back to mine… I kind of want it to be romantic and special and cook dinner for you’. Aww, that is the cutest thing. ‘You don’t mind, do you? I can take you out some where if you want, it's not a problem’. I leaned over and rested my hand on his knee, stopping him.
‘You cooking for us is so much better than any where else we could go’. He stole a quick look at me before turning his attention back on the road. ‘Thanks, Kip’.
‘For what?’
‘For telling me how you feel’. He couldn’t stop smiling, and neither could I. He lifted his arm up and called me over. I moved across the seat and hugged up to him, wrapping my arms tightly around him.
‘Well, in that case, thank YOU for feeling the same way. I mean it, you look so beautiful tonight’. I blushed again.

Pulling up to Kips house, I always thought it looked massive. He was the only person who lived here, yet, it was like a mansion. We got out and I grabbed my bag out of the back seat. Like a true gentleman, Kip took it off me and threw it over his shoulder. Locking the car, we headed in to the house. Dumping my bag on the floor, Kip took my hand and lead me through the house to the dining room.
It was honestly some thing right out of a romantic movie. Lit candles every where, which made me believe some one had helped him make sure it looked this perfect, he wouldn't have left lit candles on while he was out. The biggest bouquet of flowers sat on the table next to two wine glasses and rose petals littered the floor.
It was magical!
‘Wow.. Kip, this is… is amazing!’ Moving closer to me, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a long, loving, passionate kiss.
‘I’m glad you like it’. He took my hand once again and led me to the table where he pulled my chair out for me. I sat down and thanked him. ‘Would you like a drink?’ I nodded.
‘Yes please’.
‘I’ll be right back’. He leaned down and gave me yet another kiss before leaving and heading in to the kitchen to retrieve the wine. I couldn’t help but look around the room, taking in the sight before me, I had no idea Kip could be so romantic, The guy I had been in love with for years, my best friend.. It was all so perfect!
This was the best night of my life!..
