CHAPTER TWELVE

Aurora (POV)

Well there's no way I can escape, right now am sitting in my office chair making some reservation for Mr Andino. He has some meeting with one of his business partner, Mr Balaskas.

Mr Balaskas is one of AIEI biggest investor, true to his word and he always smiles.

Although a business man must look intimidating and strict in the business world, Mr Balaskas is the opposite.

But I do here rumors that he isn't kind when someone backstab him.

The meeting will hold in about two hours and Mr Andino needs to be informed about it, and it also means I need to be in his office.

Have been avoiding him all day...well not technically the whole day and beside he is the one that will request for me.

I sigh and stood up going straight to his office.

Knocking on the door softly and waited for a response and didn't hear a come in.

I knocked again but this time a little louder, yet I didn't hear a response.

I decided to enter because I was scared that maybe something happened to him.

I opened the door and went straight in and was surprised to see his seat empty, which is very unlike him.

He's always sitting on that chair even during lunch break.

Okay....my office is close to his and I'd have definitely seen him coming out of his office but I didn't.

I was about to call out his name when I heard the door opposite to me opened, I didn't even notice a door was there.

He could have gone in there for something, I heaved a sigh of relief and looked up but I stumbled back when I saw him.

There he stood shirtless...well not completely since one hand was tucked inside one hand of the shirt but the rest of his body was in full display for my innocent eyes to consume.

That is some abs, I could lick it all day.

Shut it Aurora, how can you think of that.

I quickly turned my back to him to give him privacy.

I peeked a little and saw him looking bored of my reaction.

After he sat on his chair looking decent enough to look,i turned to him knowing full well that my cheek are has red has tomatoes.

I cleared my throat, "sir...I....I just came to inform you about the 2:00o'clock meeting this afternoon".

He just hummed in response and then that was my clue to leave.

I turned around and walked to the door chanting in my head.

"Miss Aurora"I heard his deep s****l voice call out to me.

Why can't he just leave me alone.

I turned around quickly with a force smile visible on my cheek.

"Sir"I politely responded.

"You do know you're included in the meeting, so get ready"he informed icy.

Well I do know am assisting him but what's wrong with is mood and tone.

"Okay sir"I replied and left without waiting for his approval.

I closed the door to my office and rested my back on it, why do my heart keep beating so fast?

I sat back on the chair and rested my head on my desk still holding my chest.

Whatever this feeling is, its not good sign.

I stared straight at the beautiful pair of ocean blue eyes of Mr Balaskas.

He kept talking to Mr Andino about business and I was too distracted by his beautiful pairs of eyes to take down note.

I drawed my eyes away from him and looked around the restaurant and couldn't stop admiring the interiors.

Right now we are sitted in a private room meant for VIP.

"Are you ready to order miss Aurora"Mr Balaskas asked.

I turned quickly to him and saw him with a smile on his face.

"Yes Mr Balaskas"I replied with a hint of pink on my cheek.

"Call me Demitrius".

"Right demitrius...am ready to order"I answered.

He called the waiter and we all gave him our order.

I turned to Mr Andino and he had this expression on his face that wasn't readable.

He look so cold and stiff sitting there making him cool.

Our food arrived and we all ate with a little talk here and there, and finally the meeting came to an end.

I shakes hand with his PA and then to him.

"See you around, Gattina"he kissed the back of my palm and left not before patting Mr Andino shoulder.

We too left shortly and I could feel the strong smell of anger settling around him.

We both slide into the limo and didn't say a thing throughout the ride to the office.

I wonder what his making him angry.

Yesterday he seemed okay and lively but today he so cold towards me.

We finally got to the company and I didn't even wait for the icy pompous ass and went straight to the elevator.

I was about pressing the button to the last floor, when I felt a presence beside me and it was no other person but Mr Andino.

What's he doing here? I do clearly know that he has his own private elevator, so why is he here.

I didn't question him and just pressed the button and stood quietly in the corner.

The awkwardness and silence was killing me here, normally we would have arguments about things and in turn watch him threaten me.

With the way it seems and look, he's really in a bad mood and in no mood to speak to me.

Well who cares about him, he can remain icy has if I care....I came to do my work and not worry about his mood.

The elevator pinged signifying our arrival but what shocked me was when the stop button was pressed by him.

I turned to him with a frown on my face.

"Sir?" Am really fed up with this pompous fool.

"Why did you stop the elevator?"I again asked him.

I sighed again when he didn't respond but just facing the elevator door.

"Sir...we have work to do and am fed up with your behavior"I was about pressing the button to open, when his word stopped me.

"What is your intention in working in my company"he asked this time facing me.

He looked scary and it frightened me to the core.

His eyes were red with anger.

"What"I was confused by his word.

"What is your intention in working in my company?"he questioned again.

"Of course to work and see my dreams come true in been an electronic engineer"I answered.

I got shocked when he banged his knuckles on the wall close to my head.

He was really frightening and I couldn't even form a word in mouth.

"Sir..Mr Andino you're scary me with your behavior"I stuttered a little.

He looked at me and chuckled like what I said was a joke.

"You really are one good actress and I commend you on that"he said.

"You know what, picking you to work for me was one of the biggest mistake"he said each work with hatred.

I was praying for the wall behind me to suck me in and it didn't.

"You miss Aurora and your family won't succeed in your plans"he uttered.

Okay that's, I don't know what I did to him and what's problem....but enough is enough.

"Listen sir, I don't know what I did to you but please do not ever bring my family into this"I whispered yelled.

I didn't wanna blow up and it will cause me my job.

"Whatever I've done please say it to my face and don't you dare bring my family into this"I stated.

He looked at me for a while and smirked.

"Like I said before miss Aurora, you won't enjoy your time working with me before this two months finish, I'll make your life a living hell"he whisper in my ear.

He didn't wait for my response and pushed the button and when it opened he walked away but not before telling me to go back to work.

I seriously don't know what's problem is, all I do is focus on my work and stay clear from him.

Whatever his problem is, I don't want to be involved.

But bringing my family into this, is annoying. I do know that my family and his don't have a good relationship from what I've seen through the years and I can only wonder why.

My question is what happened that made him ask what my intentions is to this company.

I just hope that he doesn't see me has a spy to his company because am not, and cannot betrayal this company.

I stepped out of the elevator and went back to work.

I got home exactly 7:30pm, I saw Casey sitting in the living room watching some documentary.

"How was work today?"she asked.

If I should tell her what happened, I trust her to follow me to the company to deal with him. I know Casey to know she isn't afraid of anybody.

I just had to lie to her, "it was awesome and fun".

"Well your food his in the kitchen, do freshen up and go eat"she said.

Sometimes she behaves like my mother.

"Thank you"I went to my room and straight to the bathroom.

Whatever happened in the elevator today is something I should be worried for.

There must be something that went wrong for him to go completely ballistic.

I dressed into my pj and went to the kitchen to devour my food.

"Aurora you have a message"Casey said.

"What message?".

She went to the telephone and pressed a button and a voicemail popped up.

That voice is very familiar and I know who own it.

"Dad".

"Sweetheart, we would love for you to visit tomorrow....some unfinished business".

I looked at casey and back to the telephone.

"This isn't good".
