CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Alfonso Andino (POV)

I decided to stay in the house my dad built far away from prying eyes and especially the paparazzi. It was built in a quiet estate only surrounded with few houses and trees.

Tomorrow been weekend is the perfect break to enjoy myself in this mansion.

I entered inside the mansion and was amazed my the interior. Everything looks clean...which i guess is the cleaners hand work.

I went straight to the master bedroom and gave a nod, everything it perfect the way I like it. Pulling my suit and walked straight to the bathroom.

Taking my bath quickly,I came out feeling refreshed and clean with a towel hanging dangerously low on my waist.

Hearing the ringing on my phone, I quickly picked it up to answer.

"Yes"

The voice in the other line spoke and I hummed in response before hanging up.

I dropped the phone on the bed and walked into the closet.

Finally dressed in a polo white shirt and a three quarter, I came down the stairs to the kitchen.

The food was already made and it was left for me to just heat it up.

The day finally turned to night but yet I couldn't sleep and decided to do some work in my study.

But still I couldn't concentrate on my work because of a certain someone.

I couldn't help but to think back to what happened in the elevator and definitely in the meeting.

It was annoying to see her talking with demitrius and ignoring my presence.

Am just been hot headed about everything. Finding out she's the daughter of my family enemy and also she working in my company. It was really suspicious and that is why I had her chosen, so I can monitor her.

Definitely she was placed in the office to spy on the company and give back information back to her dear father like an obedient daughter.

After getting that call, I do know that yes she's working with her father. She won't get away with it.

I don't care about anyone else but my family and if it concerns my family, I won't think twice of making that person pay.

Aurora (POV)

At this moment i'd really love to escape but am already standing at the door and my hand has pressed the bell.

I waited for the massive silver door to be opened and it did, and was greeted by the housekeeper.

"Welcome miss Aurora"she gave with a warm smile which is evident her face.

"Thanks Dora".

I entered into the house and couldn't help but feel a smile creep up my face.

Everything still remained the same except for one thing that's missing.

I just laughed at that, seriously....I don't even know why am here, if am been disowned by my family.

My picture which used to be next to my dad's is empty and now replaced with my sister's.

I shakes my head and turned to dora who has been standing there quietly.

"Were is my father".

"Sir said to wait in the living room and he will be down soon"she informed and went back to her duties.

I shrugged and did has her instructed.

The living room was on of my favorite place in the house because of the TV which comes out the wall automatically.

Settling my self on the couch and waiting for my papi to arrive, and yes I did wait for an hour before he graced himself with his presence.

"Hello daughter"he sat on the opposite couch with a smirk on his face.

Usually, when am away in college and I come and visit him he would hug me and peck my cheeks, but now its different.

"Why am I here"I wanted it done and I can be on my way.

"Straight to the point I see"he laughed.

I just gave him a bored look and crossed my legs along with my arms.

"How are you copping in that company"he said nonchalantly.

I knew he does care about my job or my well being so why ask.

"Can you just state why my presence here is needed"I frowned already sick of his sweetness.

"I want you to do something for me"he stated.

I didn't say anything but raised my brows.

"And that something has to do with your company"he said.

This time I was all ears, what evil plan does he have in that rotten mind of his.

"The Andino signed a contract recently and i'd like for you to bring it for me"he did go straight to his point.

Wow...he's very brave to ask me to do such thing, and I think that contract he's talking about the contract we signed with the Chinese investors.

But why does he need it?.

"And what makes you think I'll do your bidding"I asked.

"You doing my bidding will give you access to a precious gem my darling"he said with a little wicked smile pronounced on his face.

"Are you trying to blackmail me".

"No darling, why will I blackmail you....consider it has a trade and barter"he uttered.

"In that aspect the contract will be replaced by another while the real contract will remain in my possession"he negotiated.

Sometimes,I do wonder if he is my father...I can't possibly share the same brain, blood with this...this Buffon.

"I won't do has you request...I won't betray the company and definitely Mr Andino".

"If facts I want to know what the biff between you guys...right from day one you always have something negative to say about them, why?"I questioned already tired to be mixed with there arguments.

In the other hand, Mr Andino sees me has a traitor and I do know he is keeping a close eye on me. Now my dad want me to do something so...so wrong,that will prove what Mr Andino said about me right.

"That will be a story for another day"he said.

I stood up with the intentions of leaving here and never coming back.

Turning towards the exit of the living room when he spoke up.

"Then you won't get the share and house your grandfather kept for you....and also the pendant your grandma own which was given to you to be cherished, will you give that up"he spat.

I turned to him with my eyes glaring at him with so much hate.

"You can't blackmail me with that.....and i'll be sure to come take it from you, very soon"I said with a promise.

About walking away when I heard my name been called by my dear sister.

"Why you leaving without meeting your dear sister Aurora"she smirked.

I smirked back, "I didn't know you were home...besides i thought you were at the company...you know doing your modeling stuff".

"I decided to relax for today, its weekend by the way".

"Sorry didn't know....I just thought you will be at the company since I know you always there even on weekends, to impress dad" I whispered the last part to myself but I know she heard me considering the smile on her face. Who cares.

"Sister, you haven't even bothered to call me since grandpa funeral"she pouted.

Seriously?.

"I did call but apparently your phone...in fact all of you guys phone doesn't even exist"I stated.

"Oh my, I changed my phone that's why"she faked it all.

It still unbelievable that my little sister has turned to this kind of person.

"I'd really love to sit and chit chat but i've somewhere i need to be"I said trying to escape them.

Dad came and stood behind lily and pressed his hand on her shoulders, I do know he did it purposely because lily decided to speak.

"If I were you sister of mine, I"ll do has father says".

"Woah...you really are something else and I don't have your time"I was about opening the door when she spoke again.

"If you do it, then you can come back home"she said.

I really want to come back but with the way everything is going I rather not.

"Thanks but no thanks".

"Before you go....I would really love to meet your boss, I heard rumors that he is so handsome and very single...so maybe one of this days you can introduce me to him at the office maybe when I come visit you."she blabbed to which I didn't pay attention to.

She's really something else, one minute she want me to betray the company and now she wanna meet Mr Andino.

"Greet mom and the boys for me, will ya?"I smiled and without waiting for them to answer I left not before winking at them.

I'll rather die than betray Mr Andino and the very company have love for a long time.

Well not technically die for it.

My stomach growled angrily reminding me about food.

I really am famished and my dear family couldn't serve me anything...what a family.

Casey should be waiting for me at home with a cute little chef clothes and a delicious food of lasagna waiting for me.

I can smell it were am standing.

Seriously, let go already.

That what am about doing.

Unknowingly to her she was been watched from afar.
