CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Alfonso Andino(POV)

"Sir, this file would need your signature" Aurora said.

I looked at her and gestured for her to bring it.

Reading through the files before signing it and handling it back to her.

I was expecting her to leave but she still stood there like a lost puppy.

She definitely have something to tell me but she's hesitant to speak.

"Miss Aurora, if you don't have anything more to say can you go back to your desk"I said already irritated by her presence.

She opened her mouth to speak but shut it.

"Right sir"she left without saying anymore.

My instinct tells me clearly that she has something to tell about but something else is hindering her.

Quickly picking my phone up I dialed percy number.

"Let è capitato di sembrare triste o felice quando è uscita dalla casa di suo padre".

(Did she happen to look sad or happy when she came out from her dad's house).

I needed to know....maybe a clue about what happened inside the house. She might have given him some information and I need to know, if I should take actions.

"Con la sua espressione quel giorno, mi sembra che qual cosa di serio deve essere accaduto come see fosse stata pressurizzata". he said.

(With her expression that day, it seems to me that something serious must have transpired like she was been pressurized).

"Va bene. Voglio Che tu sappia se i Giordano hanno firmato un contratto di recente e con chi".

(Okay. I want you to find out if the Giordano have signed a contract recently and with who).

"Va bene". he replied and hanged the phone.

I placed my phone back on my desk and crossed my fingers together with my elbow on the desk.

She's definitely hiding something and I need to know what its.

Aurora Giordano (POV)

So close to exposing my dad plans to Mr Andino, but I still see it has the wrong time to do so.

I do well know that he doesn't trust me and I might be a traitor to his company.

This really stinks, why didn't he chose someone else? Why did I ever meet him at that hotel? Why?.

I sank low on my chair and heaved a tired sigh.

The knock on my door made me to sit up straight and to answer the unknown person to come in.

To say I was shocked to see a very familiar face made my day.

"James".

"Hello Aurora...I decided to come to you since you forgot us after moving to this place".he smiled.

"Am so sorry James, I've no excuses"I gave him a tired smile.

"All is forgiven but why do you seem so stress out?"he asked concerning.

"Work"I simply said.

"Well since it lunch time, why don't we go together"he asked.

"Sure".

I picked up my bag and followed him out of the door, and stopped when I was two meters away from Mr Andino office.

"Can you wait, I need to inform him about going for lunch".

"Wait! You ask permission before taking a lunch break"he asked in disbelief.

I nodded and knocked on his door.

"Sir can I leave for lunch".

He stopped what he was doing and looked at me with his cold green eyes.

"Who's that with you?"instead of answering me, he's asking of James.

"James?".

"James....why is he with you?"again he questioned.

"Well....I do go with him for lunch before I became your PA".I answered.

He hummed in response and waved his hands, gesturing for me to go ahead. I didn't wait anymore and left.

"All set"he asked.

"Yeah" we both entered the elevator.

"How did you get here anyway?"I suddenly asked.

"I was to give his Secretary some files and then used the opportunity to get to you".

I nod and we stayed silent until the elevator pinged.

"Seriously Beatrice did that"I couldn't help but laugh at his story.

"Yeah...and the worst thing was Mrs Katherine entered exactly the time she did it"he laughed.

Wow....Beatrice is something else.

Apparently she wanted to flirt with james by grabbing his junk when luckily enough Mrs Katherine saw it.

James is actually lucky because he was trying to stop her, and that proves that he wasn't into it.

Right now Beatrice is in two weeks leave.

"Her fake nails would have damaged my baby maker"he pouted.

"Jesus...don't say that"I throw my chip on his chest and he just laughed it off.

"On a serious note James....why don't you have a girlfriend with all that look?"I was determined to get an answer from him today.

James is very handsome and hot, kind and humble. His charm and dimples can make any single ladies fall for him instantly.

But anytime am about to reach that topic he avoid it immediately.

"Why don't you have a boyfriend with all that look?"he returned the question back to me.

"Ah ah, you won't escape this question. You gonna answer to me whether you like or not"I glared at him.

He sighed and started speaking.

"Actually I did have a girlfriend before,in fact she was my fiance since I proposed to her"he admitted.

Woah....i didn't see that coming. He was engaged.

"Yes I was engaged"he smiled.

Oh great, been blunt again Aurora.

"So what happened?"I asked eager to know what happened.

"She ran away with her previous ex"his expression became dime.

Holy shi....

"Am so sorry James"I couldn't help but feel for him.

"You don't have to be sorry, it wasn't your fault"he gave a nervous laugh.

Knowing him very well, I can see it through is eyes that he's sad and lonely.

"You know what, I don't feel sorry because she's a fool to leave an amazing and loveable person like you"I fumed.

Its true she a big i***t for leaving this likeable hulk like him.

"Wow that's new...likeable hulk".

I quickly looked at him and sighed. Again been blunt, what's your problem Aurora...why can't you control your mouth now he will think am weird.

"You aren't weird...I do appreciate your 'outspokenness' "he smirked.

Oh god, please this smoove drink should just suck me in already.

We talked about things and laughed more, joked more and then it was time to go back to the office.

"Don't worry James,I'll be sure to call you later today"I promise.

"I hold you to that"we both went our ways.

I entered the elevator that will led me to the last floor and a smile on my face.

After entering the floor, I was welcomed by the Secretary face.

"Aurora someone is in the boss office and I think she's here for you"she uttered.

I frowned, who could be that pers.....

No,no it can't be her.

I rushed to his office and opened the door.

"Hello dear sister".

I almost collapsed when I saw my very own sister lily.

What's she doing here?.

"Lily?"I looked at her in disbelief.

I thought she was joking about visiting me in the office.

"This handsome fellow here was a big entertainer for me while I waited for you"she licked her lips while eyeing him seductively.

I turned to Mr Andino and he had a smirk on his face.

"That smirk of his,isn't a good sign".I mumbled to myself.

I turned again to lily and she winked at me.

"This isn't good".
