CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Aurora Giordano (POV)

I lazily used the apartment key to open the door, using my back side to shut the door.

Resting my head on the door and heaved a loud sigh of exhaustion and frustration. Today's event has really drained me out and I don't think I can fathom the strength to leave the house for the next two days.

Struggling to move myself away from the door and seeing the steps to my bedroom just made me retreat to the living room couch.

Were is Casey when you need her; right she's enjoying herself in Hawaii for next two weeks. The company were she spends her day doing her job decided to give there employees a two weeks break. My dear casey couldn't miss the opportunity, so she gracefully or should I say happily took some clothes and all her necessity and left me all alone in this house.

I tried calling her on my way home but she doesn't seem available; right she bathing her self with the sun over there, making me jealous.

You Aurora surely need a break from all this.

Back to the topic at hand, I don't know what to do about Lily and that egoistic,arrogant Buffon, aka Mr andino.

Everything which transpired this afternoon has given me a huge migraine, which I doubt advil will fix.

Flashback

"What you doing here lily"I snapped, obviously annoyed by her presence.

"You aren't happy to see me? Now that hurt"she started with her melodramatic act.

Instead of replying to her, I turned to Mr Andino.

"Please sir can you excuse me and my sister"I asked.

He looked at me and smirked.

What's with him smirking, few days ago and even today his mood towards me was alarming and now he suddenly switched mood.

'bipolar disorder'.

Or wait! Did lily perhaps tell him something confidential.

No, no lily won't do anything stupid.

"You may go, but on one condition".he uttered.

"I want to invite your sister for a dinner in my house and since you're the oldest am asking for your permission.....so am I permitted?"he had a wicked grin plastered on his face.

I looked at him incredulously, did he just say that.

Maybe my ear heard wrong.

"Am certain it didn't, i'd love to have dinner with your pretty sister in my house"he said again.

"Oh my God, i'd surely be honored to join you for dinner....when exactly"lily whale voice beamed in happiness.

"Tonight my darling"he smiled at her without paying attention to me.

She giggled and sat back on the couch.

I think what am witnessing is actually me hallucinating.

"Lily can I talk to you like right now"I growl down at her.

She humph angrily but luckily decided to follow me.

"Excuse us sir"I politely said.

I all but dragged this soulless chicken with me straight to my office.

"What are you doing here lily?"again I asked her.

"Again with your rhetorical question, I did tell you I'll surely visit you one of this days....what's the big deal"she spoke why looking around my office before slumping down unlady like on my chair.

"The big deal is you came here without informing me before hand"I dropped my hand aggressively.

"Chill lass.....and am happy I came because your delicious looking boss invited me for dinner"she shrieked in happiness.

Obviously for his personal gain. I do well know he has something evil, rotten crawling up there.

"You should feel happy because if he decides to finally date me, it'll mean well to you too"she spoke like a crazy person.

"And no more arguments from you sister of mine....just do what dad request of you like an obedient Senior daughter."she stood and patted my shoulders.

"I'll leave now, I still have some shoot to finish...but not before seeing my-nearly-future-husband"she winked at me before closing the door to my gasping face.

Did all this just happen within fifteen minutes.

I held my waist with my other hand caressing my brows.

Mr Andino has some evil plans up his sleeves and that isn't good at all.

If Mr Andino come to find out about what dad ask of me....it'll be proved right am a traitor in his eyes.

Besides I don't have any intentions of doing dad's bidding, he can threaten me with everything in the world but he won't get any help from me.

The intercom on my desk beam and his voice came through that he needed my presence.

I knocked on his door slightly and he gave his permission for my entrance.

"Sir you requested for me"I asked nervously.

I could feel my palm sweating...isn't the air condition working here.

He looked at me again with that cold threatening eyes and spoke.

"What's your game miss Aurora"he asked.

Not again with all this questions I can't answer.

"What do you mean sir"I played dumb.

"Don't play dumb with me....you surely invited your sister here, why?".he growled viciously.

Did he just growl at me, his he a wolf?.

The banged on the table woke me up from my trail of thought.

I looked up to see him standing and strolling with long stride to were I stood.

He stood all 6ft taller than me making me at his chest level.

He inch close to my ear and whisper, making shiver run down my spine.

"You better stay at alert miss Aurora, it won't do you good to slack off....i plan on throwing you out of this company with my bare hands".

I swallowed a big gulp and looked at him.

He took looked at me and we were so close to each other I could smell his cologne.

"Sir..sir may I go back to my work"I stuttered.

He seemed to be pulled out of his thoughts and cleared his throat.

"Leave and don't come until I request for you"he said with venom.

But what if its urgent and I need to his assistance.

I sighed and without further delay, I went out of the door and closed it firmly behind me.

Presence

I looked at the clock on the wall and sighed it currently showed 6:00pm, and I do know there should be enjoying there cozy dinner in his house.

"It isn't my concern..my only concern is to bathe, eat and sleep"and that's exactly what I did.

I won't let the thought of those two give me nightmare.

You won't be able to sleep well.

I groan and waited for what tomorrow will bring.
