CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Alfonso (POV)

"Well I just couldn't sit back and watch her speak to me like that, so I used my beautiful nails to scratch her ugly face. Next time she won't try me again, we Giordano don't back out of a fight..........."I sat there listening to her narrating about stuff that doesn't concern this so called dinner.

I zoomed out of her speech and looked at her with a bored expression.

Her sister is very much different from this wide mouth. The only reason I brought about this dinner date, not. It was to get come info from her, but it seems I made a mistake suggesting to this.

"We Giordano don't back out of a fight".

Exactly the same words her useless father said years back.

"So that's that....what about you?" She batted her lookalike wiper lashes.

I had to force myself to smile, "nothing much, I wanna know about you...your likes and dislikes, your childhood anything."

Again she started talking about her life history, while I stood up and went to the small bar in the hotel room to pour more wine for her.

Seriously do you think i'll bring her to my house or my penthouse in my hotel. Currently we are in a hotel owned by demitrius.

"Aurora and I were inseparable"her speech jotted me out of my thoughts.

I continued pouring wine for both of us.

"I see...but from what have seen, you guys aren't close like before".

She sighed, "well she left, and that's all".

I gave her the wine and carefully watched her drink the whole glass ones.

She urged me to pour her more and I gladly did so.

Within fifteen minutes, my so called guest was drunk at of her wit. Let say it was intentional of me to make her this way, should I say am desperate to find out more information, yes.

"So....how is your dad and sister relationship"I spoke out watching every words coming out of my mouth.

"Dead!"she exclaimed making me shock by her outburst.

"What do you mean dead?"I wanted her to elaborate even though she's heavily drunk.

She laughed for a good five minutes before calming down.

"She...she was my..my dad favorite out..out of all his chil...children, but Aur...Aurora decision made him...him driff away from her"she hiccuped while speaking.

"Dad..dad wanted he...her to take over his company but she refused, say...saying she wanted to be an electronic engineer, which caused a big argument between the two......"she looked at me with her elbow on the table waving side ways has she spoke.

"Do you know what?"she whispered to me.

I listened carefully to what she was about to say.

"She always dreamed of working in your company and when..when dad didn't agree to this and she..she was stubborn to do has dad wishes, she left and dad cut all ties with her....and am very happy about that, she always praised by all and now that this argument has occurred, its my time to shine!"she exclaimed and fainted with her head hitting the table with a loud bang.

I couldn't speak or move, been overwhelmed by all she said made me dumbstruck.

That have been judging her, that have used so many means to insult her.

She wasn't guilty at all.

Damn it!.

I looked at the lady with her head layed on the table wasted.

Picking up by phone and dialed percy number to come pick up my guest.

Although I couldn't get any information about Aurora recent visit to her family house but I do know now that I was wrong to judge her.

A little while later, I found myself in my house after leaving the hotel with percy dropping off lily at her condo.

All I could think of was all the hurtful words have said to her and the threat have impose to her.

How can I face her, after knowing that have been wrong all this time?.

Aurora

Making myself comfortable on the stool adjacent to the island. I called in sick today, I think have gotten a flu and I don't have the strength to work.

I lazily made myself a bowl of cereal and milk, chewing slowly with my eyes glued at the window were I could see the front view.

So in my thought,I didn't first hear the bell ring until the second. I abandoned my breakfast and went to the door.

I was shocked to see who was at the door.

"Hello besty".

"Casey!"I forgot about my sickness and jump on her.

"Jesus careful, don't you know your weight is unbearable"she yelled.

I didn't listen to her yelling but hugged her tight. Hesitantly leaving her and giving way for her to enter the house.

"You seem too excited for my liking"she joked.

I flopped on the chair opposite were she sat.

"I missed you alot, is it a crime?"I frowned.

"No it isn't. So how have you been bearing the loneliness alone in this house"she smiled.

I smirked, "how can i be lonely, when I've your room to entertain me".

"Don't tell me.....".

"Yup, I did a runway show in your room"I confirmed her suspicious.

She frown and squeeze her face so much that she was turning red, it seems she wasn't breathing.

"Okay.fine. I didn't dare enter your precious room"I sigh in defeat.

I wanted to tease her for a while.

"Of course you didn't, my camera is an evidence"she smirked and crossed her legs.

"You placed a camera in your room before you left!"I exclaimed.

She nodded with a smirk still on her face.

"My spy camera caught a beautiful scenario that occurred few days back".

Don't tell me.

"Damn does stretch marks, does two bums and woah your tight got a little bit big in my absence"she lamented.

"You pervert!".

"So how was your trip"I asked sniffing a little.

"Okay, I guess.....but on a more serious note are you okay".she had a worried expression on her face.

"Its just a little flu"I sniff some more.

"Forget about that and tell me all you did during your short break"I uttered.

"Well, there was the beach, the food, wine, the bed..everything was just too perfect but then the devil doesn't want me to enjoy my little holiday and decided to come in disguise"she glowered.

"what do you mean?".

She narrated all that happened in Hawaii and I couldn't help but laugh at her misfortune.

"Was he handsome"I decided to tease her a little.

She looked as if she was thinking about it, "I'll say no and yes".

"Yes he's handsome or no?"I wanted an accurate answer.

"Urgh..yes he is. Of course I find myself smitten by his handsomeness but I'll give him a big no for his character"she replied.

"He's the most frustrating, annoying, self-absorbed Brute have ever meant."she remarked.

I couldn't help but laugh in my sickly state.

Well it seems Casey has found herself a match.

"Well, do you know more about him"I asked.

"Si, apparently he's from greece but sometimes come to Italy"she confirmed my curiosity.

"That's nice"I said.

"No its not"she snapped.

I put up my hands in surrender but not before wiggly my eyebrows.

Let say, she chased me all the way up to my room and i won't get any taste of her delicious food.

"How's that boss of yours?"she asked from the door.

I couldn't respond, I kinda forgot everything concerning him. Making me wonder what will happen tomorrow at work.
