September arrived, and things became very busy for Jake. As the academic year started, he found he had to reduce his hours at the store in order to have time for his classes and the work that came with them. He stayed with his job at the haunted house as he was enjoying himself there too much to let it go. But he knew he’d be glad when that ended later in the fall.
The staff made their final appearance at the end of the first week of November, putting away their costumes for the last time. Wyatt gave them all an end of season bash and they all said their goodbyes, hoping to return the next year.
