The last two and a half months of the semester flew by. Jake had no trouble having his paper approved by his faculty advisor and then threw himself headlong into finishing it. By the end of June, he presented it and it was accepted. He had his master’s degree.
At about that time the college placement office sent him to Daytona Community College for an interview. They were looking to hire someone to coach their debate team, as well as teach drama and put on a production. When they saw Jake’s resume, he seemed to be exactly what they were looking for.
