April's POV
"ARRRGGGGGHHHHH f**k me!" Lucas howled at the top of his lungs.
He was lying on the ground with his arm hanging off. I'd unintentionally made the whole thing worse because not only had I bit right through him I'd also managed to slam into his body and I was pretty sure I'd heard a few ribs breaking. I shifted back immediately
"Lucas, Lucas - Oh my goddess I am so sorry, I'll mind link Gracie."
"Why did you do that April?" He managed to scream out through gritted teeth
"I jumped in to protect you!" Why wasn't he more worried about his arm for crying out loud. Maybe he was in shock.
"Protect me? From what"
"Me I would guess" The blonde bombshell wandered over from where she had jumped too.
