Lucas's POV
I'd mind linked April 10 minutes ago and she still hadn't made it back to the apartment. I guess I had sounded pretty pissed off. But I worried when I woke up and she wasn't around especially when there was a potential and imminent threat to her life.
I tried to mind link her but it fell dead. Great now she wasn't talking to me. That was fine I'd apologise over breakfast. I hated the fact that she couldn't sleep. She was just as worried about me getting hurt as I was her. But as long as nothing happened to her they couldn't touch me.
I grabbed a quick shower and got ready for a day's worth of training. I tried to link April again but still got nothing.
