April's POV
"Wakey wakey Little Luna" I heard a high pitched voice across the room from where I was. At least I think it was a room. I hadn't opened my eyes yet. I'd been Shadow jumped to the edge of our territory, blind folded and then shadow jumped again. Before 'Jean' had removed the blindfold she injected me with something 'Just to relax you my dear' she had said. I hadn't had time to register any panic because the sedative was already taking hold of my system. Now I was waking up to the sounds of a mad person and the terrifying thought that the drug had harmed my baby.
My wrists were burning with silver and wolfsbane. It was like my joints were on fire. It was incredibly painful.
