April's POV
Lucas carried me to the pack hospital with ease. He didn't even break a sweat. He was so strong, and he was all mine.
He carried me through the hospital doors and into the lobby. I looked towards the desk where I'd first met Mia, there was a different girl behind it. She was about 50 odd and looked nothing like Mia at all! Lucas walked up to her frowning. He'd expected to see Mia too.
"Alpha" The woman welcomed him pleasantly.
"Sandra - I expected to find Mia here on shift."
"I was asked to cover for personal reasons sir. I'm afraid I don't know anything else." she apologised.
"That's fine I'm sure it's all tied in with what has been happening today. Am I able to go up and visit my brother?"
"Of course you are Alpha, You know where you're going?"
