The inevitable shaking of my body as adrenaline coursed through my veins, and my feet seemed to move forward on their own. James' arms were like a life raft thrown out, I was in a fog hanging on as we moved down the concrete path, cells made of steel. All of it fogged into a tunnel when I saw the arm of the man, I could once call father, dangling from out of the cell. A familiar tune stirred into my brain as he whistled it. Horror gripped me as the lyrics didn't even need to be said. Hundreds of memories came to my mind and I felt my heart leaping out of my chest as my feet froze into place. Tears stung my eyes as the lullaby continued... I love you forever, I like you for always, As long as I'm living, My baby, you'll be.... The song brought up one too many cruel memories, promises
