Meghan and Liam returned home on Monday, right around lunchtime. She still looked visibly weakened, as evidenced by the paleness of her face and Liam's arm wrapped around her waist. Nevertheless, she showered the kids with cuddles, hugs, and kisses as they ran towards her.
"Easy, guys," Liam smiled. "Mommy's still a little bit tired, so we need to let her rest, okay?"
"Okay!" the girls exclaimed.
"Of couwse, she's tired!" Killian chimed in. "She fought the bad guys and was super awesome! Like Wonder Woman!"
In those two days, I'd thoroughly introduced them to the world of DC Comics - and I had to admit I'd done a great job, considering the amount of references the three of them were throwing around now.
