A Hard Day A DESERT BREEZE INFUSED with the ocean’s chill peppered the exotic landscape of Takrin Qu’mados, a city of opulent palaces built upon high bluffs of the Lunaega Province’s western shores. The crusading tides pillaged the coast over the harsh centuries, leaving only the strongest bedrock behind. When viewed from the east, jagged cliffs upheld the city and sought dominance over monolithic caverns that the sea hollowed into gaping throughways. The cliffs revealed vast expanses of heaven, frolicking over an endless horizon of sparkling blue. From the high seas in the west, the holes beneath the city unleashed fortresses of clouds that danced over an everlasting panorama of infertile terrain.
