RIGGS WOKE up squinting his eyes because of the bright sunlight that was coming from the open windows of the room. He pushed himself up from the bed using his elbows, groaning in pain from the sudden stabbing pain that pounded in his head. Did he hit his head? Ah, that’s right. Something truly unexplainable happened to him. And no matter how hard he try, he could not give a logical reason to what occurred last night. He’s not someone who believes in the supernatural but he remembered being attacked by some kind of a monster? He couldn’t make a proper guess what it actually was, but he was sure it wasn’t a human.
