Chapter 7The next weeks passed slowly for Geoff. Doug was rarely home when he was there, and gradually they continued to drift apart. He only heard about Doug’s progress in fleeting texts or meeting mutual friends on nights out. Production on the latest gore flick had wrapped up, and Doug was going to direct the next project for the company. He was also working on a film for another studio, but nobody could supply Geoff with any details about that work in progress.
The day Geoff came home from work and found Doug had moved out wasn’t unexpected. Doug had told Geoff he wouldn’t stand in his way if he wanted to be with Travis McAllan, and he’d kept his word.
