Geoff hung up the phone and turned his attention to the patio and garden in back of the house, where the caterer was setting up chairs and a trellis entwined with vines and red and white roses for the ceremony. Another group was setting up tables for the luncheon that would follow. He stood next to the pool, and behind him Lu was giving orders to someone about hanging ivy boughs and lanterns from the balcony rail. He walked back into the house, and Lu caught up with him on the way in.
“Everything looks great. Travis will be pleased when he sees it all coming together,” Lu said proudly. They looked out over the patio and pool.
