Knox threw me over his shoulders as he carried me all the way to his car, leaving a stunned Sean and James behind.
“Put me down” I muttered as I pounded my fist on his back but seeing it had no effect on him, I gave up.
We got to the car and he shoved me in.

“I'll get her home” Calix assured me when he saw how worried I was. I knew Knox wasn't going to let her ride with us.
She smiled to assure me she was going to be okay just as Knox closed the door on my face.
