Li Guang, a wealthy young man from Luoyang accustomed to a life of comfort, suddenly finds himself mysteriously cast into the wilderness of Uruguay in the 1930s. With no money, no identity, and on the brink of starvation, he must fight to survive attacks from wild predators before eventually building power beyond imagination.

Yet this is not merely a survival story. As World War II erupts, Li Guang uses his knowledge of the future and the resources he gathers in South America to form an Anti-Japanese Naval Force. From the coasts of Uruguay to the fierce battles of the South China Sea and Hainan Island, Li Guang brings modern weapon technology—such as the deadly 88mm anti-aircraft gun—to shatter the dominance of the Japanese military. An epic tale of an adventurer forced by fate to become a warlord in the deadliest era of human history.

Chapter 1: An Unlucky Time Travel
Li Guang is twenty-five years old this year. He comes from a wealthy family. Although he is not extremely rich, he lives a carefree life. But recently Li Guang has been having a really bad time—he's time-traveled. Time travel was usually the privilege of the destitute, but for some reason, fate threw Li Guang into the middle of nowhere. Li Guang's current state of misery was almost indescribable; his clothes were tattered and he looked like a beggar. But that wasn't the key issue. The key issue was that Li Guang's stomach was rumbling, and he was starving. Li Guang had lived for decades and this was the first time he had ever felt hunger, and it was so severe. At this moment, the feeling in his stomach had disappeared, and he only felt dizzy, lightheaded, unsteady on his feet, and his thoughts were in disarray. If a living person starves to death, even in the underworld, they would probably be laughed at by the ghosts. Since China's reform and opening up, its economic development has been remarkable, and stories of people starving to death are just legends. But Li Guang is now in this state, which is truly bizarre and inexplicable. After an unknown amount of time, Li Guang groggily woke up. He found himself lying in a strange house, which seemed to be a factory. There were several tools on the wall, and the floor was covered with a mess of scrap metal. It took Li Guang a long time to gather his thoughts and recall the bizarre experiences he had had over the past day. Li Guang was from Luoyang, Henan. After graduating from university, he worked in his family's agricultural machinery factory. Everything was so ordinary, so fulfilling, and so smooth. Li Guang didn't have many hobbies, unlike typical rich kids who indulge in womanizing and extravagant spending. His only hobby was traveling, and despite his relatively young age, he was already a seasoned travel enthusiast. Given Li Guang's wilderness experience and survival skills, even if he had traversed the area, he wouldn't have been on the verge of starvation. However, if readers understand where Li Guang traversed, they will know how arduous his journey of over twenty hours was, demonstrating an extraordinary level of wilderness survival ability, before finally reaching a populated area. This isn't China. It's Uruguay, a small country in South America. Li Guang was able to come here because his sister and brother-in-law were doing business in Uruguay. On his first day here, Li Guang went out to watch a football match, and that's when his bad luck started. Not far from the stadium, he was robbed by some locals. Li Guang wasn't a coward, so he immediately fought back. The result was obvious: two fists can't fight four hands, let alone four opponents with eight hands and four baseball bats. In the melee, Li Guang was hit and immediately lost consciousness. When Li Guang awoke, it was already dawn. None of this was strange; what was strange was that all the surrounding buildings had vanished. Even the roads had completely disappeared, leaving him in a desolate, wild wilderness. One advantage of travelers is their keen observation of the terrain when in unfamiliar territory. After a brief observation, Li Guang concluded that this was the location of the sports field. Li Guang readily accepted the reality of his time travel and thus began his journey to survive. At this point, Li Guang was unaware of the year, but the more he walked, the more confused he became. He walked for several hours without encountering a single person. It's worth noting that the stadium where he watched the game was located in the suburbs of Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, only a half-hour drive from the city center, and is a densely populated area in Uruguay. Montevideo, the capital of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, is located on the lower reaches of the Río de la Plata, bordering the South Atlantic Ocean, and faces Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, across the river. With its mild climate, lush greenery, and abundant flowers year-round, it is often called the "Switzerland of South America." Montevideo is one of the most beautiful cities in South America. The city boasts beautiful scenery, clean streets, and tree-lined streets. Prado Park, the city's oldest and most famous park, is home to over 800 varieties of roses, earning the city the nickname "City of Roses." The primitive scene before him left Li Guang bewildered. After dodging several poisonous snakes and wading through several streams, he finally saw the buildings of a city. Even from a great distance, Li Guang could easily tell that this was definitely not a modern building. Humans are social animals, and seeing signs of human habitation brought Li Guang some comfort, allowing him to muster his courage and continue onward. Just then, he heard a strange cry and turned to look in the direction of the sound. "Damn it!" Li Guang couldn't help but swear. Before him were three animals, smaller than wolves, with tongues lolling out, red eyes, and large, drooling mouths. Although Li Guang couldn't figure out what kind of animals they were, he was certain they weren't dogs; they were probably jackals or something similar. Although Li Guang was a seasoned traveler, most of his trips were within China. Nowadays, China is densely populated, and wild animals are rarely encountered; this was likely the first time he had ever encountered a wild animal in the wild. He was sweating profusely, his legs trembling. Perhaps the jackals saw Li Guang's height and strength, for a moment they only howled and whimpered in the distance. Li Guang forced himself to calm down and quickly searched for a solution. At this moment, he didn't even have a wooden stick in his hand, and all around him were bushes and weeds. In his panic, Li Guang could hear the sound of water flowing not far away. He immediately made up his mind and began to slowly approach the sound of water. And the three jackals followed him at a leisurely pace. Fortunately, the jackals did not attack, and Li Guang spent the tense ten minutes or so. Suddenly, Li Guang was startled by the sight in the distance: dozens of jackals were rushing towards him. Li Guang dared not retreat any longer and ran towards the water's edge, with the strange howls of the jackals following behind him. At this moment, Li Guang could only pray that the jackals wouldn't swim. Upon reaching the water's edge, he didn't dare linger for a moment and immediately plunged into the water. Fortunately, the jackals didn't chase him into the water. Unfortunately, the river was two or three hundred meters long, fast-flowing, deep, and turbulent, and Li Guang, exhausted, entered the water. Soon, Li Guang went from swimming to struggling. Perhaps it was a stroke of luck that a time traveler could survive; Li Guang managed to grab onto a piece of driftwood. He didn't manage to reach the shore until nightfall. Li Guang, who had miraculously survived, made a careless mistake: he forgot he was in South America, in the Southern Hemisphere. Although the weather was clear, the stars were indistinguishable, and he ended up getting lost in the darkness. He ended up walking all night and reaching the seaside. By the time he figured out his way in the morning and got back on the right path, he was starving. Now that Li Guang had woken up, he had basically figured out what had happened. Seeing an iron kettle and a few slices of bread on the bedside table, Li Guang, feeling hungry again, unceremoniously stuffed the bread into his stomach and finished off the milk in the kettle. Only then did he feel his strength returning to his body. Li Guang was an optimist; he considered it a victory to have survived starvation. So he got out of bed and looked around
