Chapter 5 ~ Spilt Coffee

~Z’s POV~

Leaving Ezekiel’s apartment was not the smartest thing I have done. The pain is almost overwhelming. I left two days ago it has not been easy. Once I left his place I went to a realtor down town asking for anything close to my school. I have a motorcycle but its hidden along with some more stashed cash and a couple of weapons. I usually only ride it or touch any of that when I go to the ring. Might have to sense things just got one million times more complicated.

Now I have a nice 3 bedroom house about 40 minutes from town well from school I have to finish. You see I take advanced courses and dual credit just because my life has sucked doesn’t mean I can try for better right?... (NO, what are you stupid no one give a s**t honestly get your s**t together!) - My subconscious screams at me again

I have missed two days of school and have yet to talk to Lacy or Mrs. Lydia once I got the house the lady was nice enough to take me to the store which I appreciated but she was nosey and it was very annoying. Paying upfront she didn’t ask a lot of questions about how or why just got the paperwork done. Now I own this home and thankful is well stocked.

Today I’m going to school and to talk to Mrs. Lydia. CC is going to be so mad..

I hate feeling guilty sometimes I wish I could turn off my real emotions to some I know they think I’m died inside but I’m not I feel everything overly feel it I’m just good at hiding all of it.

Once I stopped my inner monolog decided to get up and shower my head has healed enough for me to was my hair gently. Once I was ready grabbed my helmet as well as a beanie, keys and bag walked out to my beautiful all black with a hint of red now so no one recognizes it from the fights my beautiful motorcycle. I love the way she purrs between my legs.

~45 mins later~

I missed riding her! I thought pulling up to the parking spot oh I’m earlier they usual hardly anyone is here. I see Lacy at one of the picnic tables talking to her cousin Demetrius but everyone calls him Dimitri I don’t know why but he says he prefers it.

Getting off my bike leaving my helmet on it hurts so bad taking off and putting on anyway plus all the eyes on me might go away once I sit with them people tend to avoid me and her also her brother and his “gang” of friends. But this school is so big I haven’t met them before I think Dimitri hates being around her brother he’s said before he feels like his shadow.

Sitting down at the table they both look at me like I just committed a crime. So I didn’t what I’m good at and flipped them the bird and proceeded to take off my helmet.

CC’s eyes went huge “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH! YOU ARE LIKE A SISTER TO ME AND YOU YOU DISAPPEARED INTO THIN AIR!!” Her Italian accent showing through which rarely happens I know she’s pissed..

She gets up quickly tears in her eyes, I feel bad now.. But how could I have know what was going to do falling out of a window wasn’t my plan... “Hi” is all I said. Which brought Dimitri into the angry scolding

“Hi?! HI?! THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?!?! WE HAVE BEEN WORRIED HELL HER BROTHER COULD NOT EVEN FIND YOU AND TRUST ME! HE CAN FIND ANYONE!”

“Ok ok I will explain but not now or here look around you two have brought to much attention to us...” they begin looking around everyone that is here and has shown up is now staring again.

They finally realized that they scolded me publicly both of them started to blush not wanting the attention. Dimitri’s whole face and ears are red from it. He is not used to the attention at all its usually on his cousin.

“Look a lot has happened okay. I have to talk to to Mrs. Lydia after school and we will go together is that okay?” I ask skeptically looking at CC

" Yes, But! you will explain today! Also my brother and his friends want to meet my best friend they thought Dimitri was my only friend damn prunes ugh they frustrate me!” she looks so frustrated because of this but I am trying to figure out when was I her only friend? and best friend? really?... She is so nice there’s no way I’m her only friend.

“I have to go to the bathroom bells about to ring we ccan in AP Lit. okay?” asking hopeful that I can check my head alone before class.

She looks at me wearily but sighs and nodded her head “ok see ya both in class.” I say pulling out of her tight embrace she’s the only one I allow to touch me period. Dimitri learned the hard way not to touch me with me knowing or saying yes when he asks if he could hug me.

After my trip to the bathroom I find I'm way late for class. I guess wearing a helmet wasn't the smartest thing I have done with stiches in my head but it is okay or will be?..

~Time Skip~ Lunch ~

Once I get all my missing assignments from my teachers things really were not great my head was killing me and honestly didn't have an apatite at all. Defiantly do not want to eat nasty frozen chicken patties from the cafeteria.

Pulling out my phone I text CC

"Hey, going to grab some tea from the Coffee Bar. Do not want that nasty crap today." sent good I need to get out of here

Almost immediately she says

"OK, how about we just meet you there my brother his friends are all here they wanted to meet you. Is that okay? XOXO"

I guess I don't have a choice. I is now or after school so why not.

"Sure why not."

Once it was sent I zoomed off toward the Coffee Bar they have really good food but even better coffee and tea! It is one of my favorite places to eat. Honestly if they delivered I would be broke all the time. Parking was easy sense I was on my bike.

Quickly ordered so I can find a booth not knowing if she is just bringing her brother or the whole crew I've heard so much about.

Hearing my name I leave my laptop and books out because there is way to much homework to catch up on not to start now. I bump into a wall or so I thought coffee goes all over the "wall" which isn't it is a older man about 6'2 has thick black hair, and eyes oh my his eyes are grey like mine that is so weird I haven't ever met anyone with the same eyes. Quickly snapping out of my shock when I hear him cursing aloud.

"The f**k! s**t! Do you know how to walk?" I just blink accouple of times still trying to understand why he looks so familiar "Well are you stupid? Or can you just not see and hear?" He finally looks at me instead of his messed up suit.

After his words anger started to boil inside of me "Look I did not intend to bump into you. But you being a huge as d**k wont help anything either. I do not need to be belittled over some spilt coffee. Have a great life." I start to turn toward the counter to get my food and tea but my arm is pulled on stopping me in my tracks spinning me around

I quickly swing my fist towards this person not even looking. Landing a perfect hit on the big mans face. Surprising him more so because he actually stumbled a bit.

"Who taught you how to hit like that? he asks"

"Really you grab me like that and that is your question? Why you grab me, who are you and what do you want now?" I ask irritation clear in my voice

"My name is Sebastian Soltero, you look like someone I lost when I was young..."

I cut him off before he could finish.

"Well I can assure you I am not that person. Good bye." Yanking my arm from his grasp I heard him say

"We will meet again. I will find you this is not over."

Only thing going through my head was What.The.Fuck one day one day with out this crap as I walk back with my food to the table I finally see Lacy and Dimitri walking in but I also see..

Ezekiel and Mac!? SHIT.. Along with 5 other people

WHY ME.. They both look stunned to see me I am trying my hardest to remain emotionless CC runs and hugs me hearing my groan in pain she looks me over realizing I'm hurt.

"Can this get any worse?!" I murmur lowly

Ezekiels makes want to squirm but what he says is what shocked me most..
