Aliana really didn't expect that to be the case. As she stared at the man Rosita said was Abram, he sat there with a cold, gripping aura.
Aliana didn't know what exactly he was thinking, was it really this man who had done that to her four years ago? Why was his response and demeanor so casual?
"So what? It wasn't us who spread the video," David, Aliana's father, replied calmly. "All this time Han didn't need a father's role either because we were enough. Young Master Jayden Abram Holmes, we've never asked you for responsibility, so there's no need for your face to look like a person in desperate need. My daughter not marrying you is not a big deal either."
David's mature face looked so serious, staring at Abram's face who immediately cleared his throat softly. He knew he couldn't just offend David or the Mahersons, even though he didn't want Aliana in the marriage or in this case but he couldn't just decide anything because David wasn't an ordinary man either.
"To further confirm whether Han is my son or not, we should do a DNA test," he said with a calm face making David narrow his eyes. "It'll be more accurate and the marriage won't be a waste."
"Do I have an agreement to marry my daughter to you?"
Abram remained silent while Johnson cursed him silently. His grandson was indeed too stupid, much to his annoyance.
"Um, well, sir... We can't help the gossip outside if this news isn't clarified soon." Jhonson said politely to David.
Although the man's age was below him, but David was his equal in matters of honor or the like. David was the owner and head of the Maherson family, he could not be carelessly brought up or there would be an imbalance in the business world.
"But I know that he doesn't want my daughter, am I being asked to deliberately put my daughter in a pit of misery because a man who has already ruined her future married her without love?" David seemed to be arguing while staring at Abram's face who was unable to speak. "Do you want to create a drama, reject my daughter on her wedding night and make her hurt again? My daughter has had a very hard time living her life so far and carrying that child. You're just here to ruin her life again as she's just getting happy and out of her slump?"
Abram sighed, he looked at Aliana's face who couldn't speak because her father had said everything. Besides, Aliana could see that Abram's face had looked stiff and flat since before, he really didn't like this conversation.
"You misunderstand, I have come to take responsibility as well as give my son a good identity. After all he is a boy who definitely needs a clear status for his life. The incident that night was indeed a mistake but I don't want to make it a continuous mistake so I want to make things better." Abram said with a serious face that made David stare deeply into his face.
He couldn't believe it, but could only hold it in his heart. Staring at her daughter, Aliana's face was also silent as if she didn't want to say anything.
Johnson who saw the tension cleared his throat before smiling. "We can continue the discussion, can't we? Great Master Maherson, you have nothing to worry about. Everything you are worried about we will not let happen. If Miss Aliana is willing to marry into our family, then we will ensure her happiness. Abram will not dare to do anything to her."
Aliana sighed softly as everyone's gazes turned to her, including Rosita's. She looked up at her father, intending to shake her head, but her head was so stiff she didn't know how to make a decision.
"Don't you want to check the ultrasound first? Who knows if it's wrong?"
From her manner, Abram knew that Aliana had also rejected her grandfather's proposed marriage. Of course, even though their company had a fairly close relationship, the two of them had never been remotely involved except for today. Aliana didn't know him very well, and neither did Abram, so they both felt unsure about this marriage.
"Fine, we'll check the DNA, if the child is really Abram's you should get married so there are no more bad rumors about us."
Aliana nodded in agreement, as did Abram. Although, Abram was sure Han was his son because the little boy's face looked very similar to his.

In those few days, Aliana and Abram had only met because they were delivering some things for the DNA test. The two of them had talked for a while just to make small talk, but then Aliana noticed Abram's departure who seemed unwilling to spend much time with her.
"What can be expected? He was a cruel man from the start, wasn't he?" Aliana muttered with a sigh. "I wish Han wasn't his son, so I wouldn't have to marry him."
Rubbing her face, Aliana got back into the car. She drove home, intending to spend time with her son since she had nothing better to do at the moment than keep him company.
"What if he and I really have to get married because Han is his son?" Aliana sighed softly. "If it's like this, it means it'll be even harder for me to make Han happy."
On the fourth day, the DNA test results came out. A renowned doctor, who had been present at their meeting, simply read out the results.
"There are many matches in the examination from the blood, hair and saliva samples used to complete the examination. So it can be said that this 99% match allows me to confirm that Little Mr. Maherson is indeed the biological son of Mr. Jayden Abram Holmes. I did not find any other matches in this matter, which makes me 100% certain that the DNA test results truly show him to be the son of young Mr. Holmes."
Aliana sighed heavily, while Abram remained silent with a flat stare. Neither of their faces looked happy, as if both of them were depressed and that was clearly visible there.
"You are Hansen's biological parents, there is no denying this." Jhonson looked so happy, while Abram could only stay where he was. "In accordance with your agreement, the marriage must take place. The news is getting worse, we have business enemies who are sure to use this matter to destroy and bring us down so we can't linger to take care of it. Before it's too late, we better hurry it up."
David and Senia could no longer refuse because their own daughter had promised and their promise could not be broken. Both of them could only hope that their daughter would be happy and not hurt by Abram.
