Mael wakes with a pulsing headache. He keeps her eyes shut, letting his senses take in his surroundings before he fully gets up. Whoever he is, it is quiet, and cold, and filled with seaweed and hay. He knows for sure that he can't be with Lucas in a place like this. He tries to wrap his mind around what had happened. How did he end up here? Anger rises within him. But, of what use is it? It doesn't change the fact that Amara is dead. They have been through a lot just to get here and he needs to stop getting captured. He opens his eyes, finding himself indeed in a dungeon, dumped onto a rotten heap of hay and chained to the wall. His feet are also been shackled to the floor, and both sets of chains have just enough slack that he can't make it to the slab with water to quench his thirst. T
