Mael is to be taken to the temple of Nimshi and kept until the scorching sun came up, that way, with one, wield of the sword of Omiri, he would be dead. He has been in the carriage for a full day now, watching day and night shifts and dancing on the walls. He has only moved to beg them to stop so that he can relieve himself. Food isn't even an option for him. If only they know how bitter he is knowing that a war that hasn't even started, he lost to it, they would run for their lives.
